Okay, as somewhat of a watcher of Ring of Honor and wrestling, period, there's one thing I really can't stand. That's kinda when other wrestlers that have awesome talent are overshadowed by another wrestler that supposedly...I guess...deserves more airtime. Example being, AJ Styles, now Samoa Joe in TNA and RoH. I mean there are a lot of great wrestlers that some people have yet to mention like Matt Sydal, Delirious, Jimmy Rave, Primetime Elix Skipper, Ron Killings, Super Dragon, Teddy Hart, Juventud Guerrera and many more that are somewhat considered undercard compared to guys like Joe, Styles and Evans. I mean I probably would have liked them a lot better if I actually saw them for myself instead of their names being shoved down my throat before I can even watch them.
I guess I'm saying that some wrestling feds have a tendency to make feds into just stuff for a specific wrestler, I mean I don't even think of TNA as "TNA" anymore, nowadays I only see it as the "Samoa Joe show", back then it was the "AJ Styles show" though. Kinda like how in RoH it's either Japanese wrestlers (Kenta's a BIG example) or Samoa Joe.
I mean don't you lot think that some wrestlers that have some awesome talent are sorta being buried by these guys because of their overexposure a little?

To be fair, Jimmy Rave is on a lot of ROH shows, and they've been doing a long term storyline with him (ie, he gets a losing streak once Alex Shelley is gone and then the Embassy basically falls apart). I think Sal Rinauro is more talented than he lets on, and I'm not sure why he isn't on the shows a bit more often (he was good when tagging with Tony Mamaluke), but ROH is trying to keep guys who win matches on the shows. In other words, it gets too predictable when you have a group of guys (ie, jobbers) who don't do anything except take up space and put someone else over. The idea is to have the most competitive matches possible, which means Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, The Briscoes, Aries and Strong and all those guys are on most shows.
As far as Japanese wrestlers, ROH has a working agreement with NOAH, and it makes much more sense to bring in somebody who works for another company, rather than signing free agents as a way to keep the talent roster fresh and present new matches to the fans.
I would personally like to see ROH put their dark matches on DVD (women's matches are often happening before the main show), just one or two matches that aren't related to anything, no storylines, no affect on the ranking system. Just a match happening in the ring without commentary. I got a taste of that while watching Straight Shootin With the Women of Honor, and I liked what I saw.
The unfortunate thing for Ring of Honor is, like any televsied promotion, they need guys who can put over storylines too, rather than just have atheletic matches. When you get a guy who can do storylines and matches well, then you get a world champion....Low Ki, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Homicide.
Doing one aspect of wrestling simply isn't good enough. ROH wants you to do it all.
