No matter what people say, about how 'every newby otaku is all hooked up on Naruto', this die-hard Otaku (and Ive been an otaku for a long time I might say. Ive loved manga even when I didnt know it was manga, like the Samurai Pizza Cats and Maple Town, when I was like 5 and chibi) LOVES Naruto. Its funny, it's got action, lot of fantasy oppertunity for Yaoi-obsessed-fangirls and yeah...

OMFG Kimi-chan and Daphne-chane were right when they said that Shikamaru was awesomesauce.
Im a slow one btw. I may be an Otaku, but Im an Otaku with a timelimit. I read manga more then I watch anime. I enjoy manga a tat more too. (anime still rawks tho XD AWESOMESAUCE) so yeah, Im only on like volume 11 with Naruto. And Shikamaru is fun.
I even got a plushie of him (and Kakashi and Naruto) now.
I want one of Hinata and Gaara, so I got all my favs together.
mmmh...and Kiba and Ukamaru.
I like them all.
Ow and for all those yaoi luvers.
Naruto x Sasuke is fine with me, but NARUTO IS SEME!
I refuse to listen or look at any yaoi that has Sasuke as a seme.
NARUTO WILL NEVER LET SASUKE SCREW HIM! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I only just reciently got into Naruto myself even though all my friends have been obsessed with it since it came over here. o.< An I also love naruto! <<...>>...<<...>>... Shikamaru is so awesome, I completely agree! whee

I do not watch the anime, I do not follow the chapter released in Japan. Im slowly following the story at the pace Viz publishes it. Yes, slowly but surely.
BUT, there is one thing even I had to see for myself.

yeah.the first real manga I've ever owned is Naruto and that was after i saw the anime. my favorite character right now is Gaara.
