Music Hall.
The Music Hall is a large room much like an auditorium. It has a stage at the back and next to it is a closet. If you walk into the closet, you'll find music stands, cleaning tools, anti-bacterial and non-toxic wash, and many assortments of instruments. They range from a snare drum to a kazoo, and there's at least ten of each.
If you wish to use the instruments that belong to the school, there's a form that you have to fill out. It consists of your name, the date you borrowed the instrument, and what instrument you borrowed, as well as times for when you took it, and when it was returned. There are also chairs and round tables in the room for watching the practices. Bands are welcome to come here and practice, and people just starting out are also invited to come and hone their skills.

Verona bypassed the room full of instruments, since she had no need to check one out for herself. An accoustic guitar already hung from a strap around her neck and shoulders, and she held it in her arms to avoid hitting it with her legs when she walked. The girl made her way towards the front row of tables, preferring them over the stage. She took a seat on top of one of the tables, tucked some dark hair behind her ear, and settled the guitar in her lap before she started to play.
Pretty soon she was singing along as well, her voice beautiful. She wasn't full of herself either. Due to her being half siren, it was almost a given that she would have a wonderful singing voice. She was singing the song Rain by Breaking Benjamin, the slower accoustic version.
"Take a photograph, It'll be the last, Not a dollar or a crowd could ever keep me here,
I don't have a past I just have a chance, Not a family or honest plea remains to say,
Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun..."
[That's not the whole song, by the way. =D]

Ginseku ad just been passing on by when he hear Verona's playing and singing. he stood there in the doorway, leaned against the wall slightly until the song came to an end. He clapped loudly, making his presence known. " Isnt that breaking benjamin that you just played?" He moved closer, passing the instrument room slowly. Gin was wearing his usual clothes, and had the usual smirk on his face. "But it's a longer song. If you were playing Rain that is. Id like to hear the rest if you dont mind..."

Verona's eyes had been half closed, focused upon the floor when she'd been playing. But now that she heard clapping, she blinked a couple times and raised her head in surprise. For a moment she simply stared, but then she laughed, nodding her head. "Yep, that's true," she agreed. "Hold on a sec..." She bowed her head slightly, then strummed her fingers across the guitar, resuming the song from where she'd left off. She hummed a little bit to regain the tune, and then started singing once more.
"Is it you I want, Or just the notion Of a heart to wrap around so I can find my way around
Safe to say from here, You're getting closer now, We are never sad cause we are not allowed to be
Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun.
Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun.
To lie here under you, Is all that I could ever do, To lie here under you is all, To lie here under you is all that i could ever do, To lie here under you is all,
Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun.
Rain rain go away, Come again another day, All the world is waiting for the sun, All the world is waiting for the sun, All the world is waiting for the sun."

Gin listened with a light smile, then took a seat near her. "You play very nicely..and you have a nice voice..Would you mind if i took a look at your guitar?" Gin smiled sincerely in a way that let her know he was trustable. (sorry, but it wasnt much to go on D: ill make the next post long, i promise)

"Thank you," Verona replied, and then slowly tugged the strap from around herself, handing the guitar over to him. She didn't mention the sword hidden in the back of it. He shouldn't know to get it out, and she doubted he'd manage to make it pop out on its own. She also didn't exactly want to reveal that little secret just yet, since she'd known him for all of five minutes. Though, he didn't seem all that bad so far. She smiled back at him, then waited to see what he was going to do.
[It's fine. ^^;; I'm going to get changed for basketball. >>]

Ginseku didnt let on, but he immediately noticed said sword with his sharp eyes. Ginseku pulled out a black, worn pick. He leaned back slightly, allowing his fingers to hit some small riffs. He played slowly, distorting a few notes to make the guitar wail and cry here and there. the song sounded rather slow, and sad. "If i leave here tommorrow...Would you still remember me? Well i must be traveling on now...because theres too many places ive got to see. But if i stay here with you girl....Things just couldnt be the same. Cause im as free as a bird now...and this bird you cannot change! oh~oh~oh~oh~" Ginsekus voice hit the Oh several times, carying in pitch slightly. The guitar sped up slightly, still slightly whining. "and the bird you cannot change! And this bird you cannot change! Lord knows, I cant change!" The guitar slowed down, wailing yet again. Crying over what seemed like losses. "Bye-bye babe, it's been sweet, love..Though this feeling I can't change But please don't take this so badly..Cause Lord knows I'm to blame But if i stay here with you, girl...things just couldnt be the same.. Cause im as free as a bird now.. And this bird you cannot change! Oh~oh~oh~oh~ And this bird you cannot change! And this bird you cannot change!" The pace of the guitar picked up, even though it was crying quickly with some difficult parts. "Lord knows i cant change! Lord help me, i cant change! Lord, i cant change! oh no, i cant change! Wont you you fly, free? bird, yeah!" The guitar picked up on what appeared to be a very rapid and difficult solo, the beats coming off like machine gun shots, each sound wailing and crying madly. The speed nearly blinding at which he played. " Wont you fly, Free, bird? yeah!" The entire solo lasted for about 4-5 minutes. but out of the entire song, which lastrer 9 minutes, this part was definitely the hardest.

Verona listened quietly, legs drawn to her chest as she rested her chin upon her knees. She watched the boy the entire time, just taking in every word, note, and tone he used, and hardly even blinked. She was impressed, definitely. Once he was done, she was now the one clapping. She smiled broadly at him as she did. "Very nice! Makes me feel like I should've picked a harder song to show off as well," she grinned.
She shifted slightly, but stayed seated upon the tabletop, now turned so she was facing him. Her legs were cross, hands in her lap. She wore a simple pair of dark pants, her shoes currently off and beside the table, and her shirt was white button up, the bottom few left undone, as well as the top one of two. It still covered everything though, except maybe a small bit of her stomach.

Ginseku grinned, and just as he was about to hand back the guitar, all of the chords snapped and sizzled. Ginseku blinked. "OH my gosh, im jsut...so so sorry! wait...let me fix this." Ginseku grabbed ahold of the sizzling chords, then pulled them down to where they had snapped and made the ends cross. HE snapped his fingers, transmuting the steel so it reconnected. He handed the guitar back slowly, with care. "Again, im sorry...Ive never really been able to play that song, so it made me wanna try my best this time. thank you for lending me the guitar."

Verona extended her hands to accept it, and froze when the chords snapped, her eyes wide. "Ah..." she began, trailing off when he said he could fix it. She blinked a couple times, and withdrew her hands again, watching closely to what he was doing. Her eyes widened when they just reconnected seemingly on their own, with a simple snap of his fingers to get them to move. After a moment of two of just staring, her head jerked back up and she smiled broadly. "Oh wow, thanks a lot!" she cried, and carefully took the guitar back, placing the strap around her shoulders and neck. There was a short silence, before she suddenly extended her hand. "I'm Verona Apela," she introduced herself.

Ginseku took her hand softly, holding it in a bit of examination before shaking it. "Very pleased to meet you Verona. My name is Ginseku Shirokiba." (gah! THATS A HORRILBE POST T0T )

Verona shook his hand warmly, still smiling at him. The faintest trace of a blush rose to her cheeks before she pulled her hand back and set it lightly on the guitar. "It's nice to meet you, Ginseku." She paused, head tilting slightly. "Uh, do you mind if I call you Gin?" she asked, staring right at him as she waited for a reply. Ginseku wasn't even that long, but she thought Gin rolled off the tongue a little better. She paused, and then rubbed uneasily at the back of her head. "That was... really good earlier," she said. "Now I feel like an amateur."
[wtf? Mine was horrible too. xD;;]

Ginseku smiled. "Youre no amateur...Ive just been practicing that song most of my life. And thank you very much..you mind if i call you vera? Its shorter." He sat up, barely noticing her blush. when he did though, he stood up and moved over to her. "You look flushed, are you okay? youre not having a heat stroke are you?" Gin seemed rather concerned about her health, from his expression.

Verona shrugged her shoulders slightly, a smile still upon her face. "Vera? That's fine." When he moved towards her, she blinked a couple times, leaning back just slightly. "What? No... I'm just, ah... something," she said awkwardly, and then laughed at herself. "I'm fine. No need to worry." It was cute though, that he was. That thought in mind, she suddenly reached out and clasped his hand in both of hers. "Let's go do something," she urged, jumping off the table. The guitar didn't crash to the floor, saved by the strap that was still around her neck.

Ginseku smiled, happy that she was okay. He himself blushed when she grabbed his hands, and found himself following her without a single word of protest. HE merely followed with a slightly silly look on his face. "Ok..." He smiled a bit more, his mind wandering off a bit as it wondered what would happen next between him and verona. Whatever did happen was sure to be interesting, at leasy.
