Playground.

Though this is a high school, for those of us with a more childish side, we have a playground! It has monkey bars, a jungle gym, a slide, swings, and a large dome of metal bars that you can climb on as well. There's also a one room, one story, wooden house for people to explore. There's one table inside, low, so you can sit on the floor and still use it. Other than that, there's no furniature inside. The playground also has various fruits trees scattered around.

Rema's feet lay ontop of the packed dirt under the swings. Her hands clutched to the cold metal bars, and her elbows occasionaly knocked against them.In no means was she swinging, she was just quietly sitting.Watching.No one seemed to be in the area, but that was to her benifit. She would rather be alone.Though, at times, watching people make fools of themselves was entertaining.

As Rema's large eyes slowly studied the colors around her, she gave a soft "Hmph."She was always confused. What need was there for a playground at a high school? When would a person ever use it.Unless some one had gotten knocked up and were playing with their child. In that case, she figured they should be punished for being idiots, not given privileges.Of course, she was at the playground now.So perhaps that was it was for.Observing.

She found that she began to move forward, then back slightly.Rema had only started to shift her weight slightly and now she was moving. It was not really surprising. It wasn't as if she had never been on swings before. She just didn't realize she started doing it...

[That wasn't bad. ^^]

Sei was floating around campus, literally, when he arrived at the playground. For a moment he just stopped, surprised there was even one to be found, but then a grin spread across his face as he moved forward. He spotted a girl on the swings and made his way to her, still drifting lazily over the ground rather than walking.

He was tall, a few inches over six feet, and seemed even taller now since he was hovering a few more inches above the ground. Shaggy black hair hung in his face, covering his icy blue eyes, and it was a wonder he could even see where he was going. But he made it to the swing without trouble, and hopped up onto it, standing in the seat with his hands grasping the chains.

He was at the one right beside the girl, and there was actually a point in it. He began swaying very slightly, purposely letting the chains rattle as he moved. If she couldn't see him, he'd be able to watch her freak out from the swing moving all on its own. If she could see him, he'd instantly know it, rather than having to wonder. So, he waited to see which would occur.

As Rema continued to swing, her eyes drifted upward. She had felt a slight draft. Most people would say it was the wind, but if so, it wouldn't of directed itself in a certain direction.Unfortunitly, she was rather slowpaced, and hadn't been fast enough to catch the "wind".Immeietly letting the thought slip her mind, she heard a slightly jangle. The only thing she took the time to do was turn her head in the direction of the noise and watched bored as the swing moved on it's own.

Her brown pupils seemed to shift and turn into two silvers, the color surrounding the pupils were now brown and the pupil black. This ability helped to see the figure on the swing.Obviously it was trying to startle her, though it did no good. She was accustom to seeing ghosts, or whatever he really was.

Her head turned away and her eyes returned to normal. Her legs began to pump again and the swing moved slightly."...scary."She muttered to the ghost as she continued to swing.

Sei watched her carefully, grin broadening when she spoke. "It is, isn't it?" he laughed, and then plopped down so he was sitting properly in the swing, no longer standing on it. He stared at her for a moment, and then tilted his head curiously. "So you can see me then?" he asked, and then continued without waiting for a response. "Well that's good. I don't wanna waste energy trying to stay visible."

He began rocking lightly back and forth in the swing, his foot pushing him forward and back at a slow pace. His icy blue eyes fell to the ground, and then back to her as he chuckled. "A lot of people here can see me, it seems," he thought aloud.

Kana wandered into the playground, taking it all in quickly. It seemed slightly different than she remembered, but still wanderfully familiar. She smiled to herself, waved cheerfully at the girl sitting on the swing, since she couldn't see the spirit she was with, and then wandered towards the large metal dome that was made of criss crossing bars. She scrambled quickly up it, and crouched at the very top point, just looking out at everything.

Though, by now her smile had faded, ears drooping slightly. She had been hoping she'd find someone she knew, but she'd wandered around a bit and saw no one. Maybe she was just one of the first to return? She hoped that was it, and she'd see someone soon.

Yuri made it to the playground, calmly searching for Kana. He had himself uncloaked by now, and was wearing the usual arrangement of clothing. Once he first stepped into what he would call the playground he put his hands in his pockets and started toward the middle, his eyes looking around for familiar faces, finding only two faces until there was Kana. He didn't know Sei was supposed to be invisible, but he doubted they would ever cross paths anyway, so he would be fine. He saw Kana and then seemingly dissappeared, seeming to reappear again leaning on a few of the bars of the dome, looking up at her lightly. "Kana..." He spoke quietly and calmly, in case he had gone unseen.

Kana's ears twitched and she glanced around, until her eyes fell upon Yuri. Her expression brightened instantly as she peered down at him, lifting one hand in an overly enthusiastic wave. "Hello!" she cried happily, overjoyed at finding someone. She somehow managed to slide down the edge of the dome, not getting caught up on the bars, and jumped at the very end just before hitting. So this way, she didn't hit hard, and landed lightly upon her feet. She turned her head to face him, bouncing lighlty back and forth on her feet. "How have you been?" she asked cheerfully, ears definitely no longer drooping.

He noticed how happy she seemed, so for now he decided to keep the bad things secret. At least for a little while. He smiled lightly again "I have been fine, and how have you been-I missed you? I hope you've not missed me at all." He added that last part for no reason in particular. He thought for a moment that there would be a reason but in the end there was none. He'd ben confusing himself like that a lot lately but mostly it was around noone so it never got him in any trouble. With that type of habit you have to watch out for when your showing it. He blinked once as he listened, Kana seemed so pretty when she was happy, it made it hard not to smile.

Kana bobbed her head up and down a couple times, her hair bouncing lightly, already falling out of her ponytail. "I've been good! And..." She trailed off slightly though, looking confused at his next words. "...is it bad that I have?" she asked uncertainly, head tilting slighlty to the side. Instead of bouncing in place, she was now swaying lightly side to side, as if unable to keep still, which was probably the case. It was hard to catch Kana in a lazy mood. She always seemed to have boundless energy, never growing tired. Right now her smile had faded though, as she looked at him in surprised confusion.

"No..." He said immediately, slower than normal as he was kinda trapped in his own thought when he had been saying it. "It's not bad...I just wouldn't want to inconvenience you in anyway or...make you unhappy or discontent. I'm sorry for not being there..." He said, now feeling a little more guilty than he had been a moment before. Not because of her or anything, he just seemed to be that way at the moment. Odd, but not untrue. He felt more and more guilty lately, but he hadn't shown it around anyone but her so far. He trusted her more than most of those he knew.

Kana blinked a couple times, standing perfectly still for a second or two before she started swaying again, shifting her weight between feet. "Oh, it's ok!" she cried. "I was fine, really! Not discontent at all!" From her large smile that seemed perfectly true, hopefully. She didn't want him to realize that she had been lonely, in case it made him feel bad, which he seemed to be slightly. One of the things she hated most was making others worry. She fell silent for a moment, glancing around the playground and then back to him again. "How long have you been back?" she asked curiously.

"Not long...I had a lot of things I had to do. I've been here for a night or two..." he said quietly. "I'm sorry for not being there..." He repeated, and then noticed he had repeated but looked off to the side for a moment instead. He sighed lightly, "Anything new happen at all since I left? Well...since I stopped being around you?" He had noticed in that moment that the last time he had seen her had been whenever Suka and Kenzi had been fighting. It made him feel very unhappy for that moment, but it only showed in his eyes, and just for a moment as he refocused on the now and listened for what Kana would answer with.

Kana listened carefully, both ears tilted towards him as she did. "It's ok," she replied cheerfully, blinking when he sighed, but then brushing it off. "Not really..." she replied, also recalling their last meeting. It hadn't been a very good one, to say the least. Especially not for someone like her, who absolutely couldn't stand fighting. Speaking of which... "I went back home though, for a while, to check on the house and visit my mom."

By 'visit her mom', she meant she'd gone to her gravestone. She'd also gotten roughed up a bit by the same bullies, as always, but not too bady because she'd learned to defend herself with her power. It was hard when there was a whole gang though. Luckily, the few cups and scraps she did have were hidden by the long pants she was wearing, so hopefully it'd be overlooked.

He nodded "Well...that seems a bit less rough than my time away from you, I am glad. I would hate for you to have been in any sort of distraught or anything. I do hope you wouldn't keep anything from me...though I've been holding out so far, I think it would be awfully difficult for me to continue to not hear your thoughts if you weren't telling me everything. You are telling me everything right?"
