Eric stared. Himself stared. They both stared.
They stared because they were in a forest. Eric scratched his head, bottom lip pouting. "Where are we?"
Himself turned to the boy, a quizical look also on his twisted features. His mouth gaped open, like a fish. He pointed to the trees. Then his hand, which was twitching and jerking around everywhere, touched Eric's shoulder lightly. Himself cocked his head, eyes unblinking.
Eric frowned at him. "I know we're in a forest, I'm not blind," he snapped weakly.
Himself's head jerked back and forth for a moment, hand tapping Eric's shoulder again and again.
"Look, no, I don't know how we got here, and I don't have any ideas." Himself stopped moving, all of his spasms suddenly ceasing. He stared at Eric, his blank black eyes not moving from the boy's face. Eric looked away, observing the forest, trying not to meet Himself's gaze.
They were in what looked like a small clearing. Branches toward above them - little moonlight penetrated their thick leaves. The roots of the huge, gnarled trees were like tentacles of an octopus, twisting out into the ground. The air was damp and musky - bugs flittered through the air, while an owl hooted mournfully in the distance.
Eric bent down, rubbing his calves, which were really quite sore. He pondered silently over what had happened before, being pushed off that little Ferris wheel by Freddy, that awful boy his mother had introduce to him. Eric made a face - Freddy must have heard the rumours about Eric's insaneness. Th boy gave an inner shrug. He would make the best of this situation.
He turned back to Himself, who was still staring at his silently, back straight and arms rigid beside his body. Then he blinked, once, twice, and held out an arm. Eric clasped Himself's hand into his own. He listened silently for a moment. "That's a good idea." He nodded his approval. "But what about the wolves, and the bats?"
Himself shrugged.
Eric nodded again, slowly. "Well, we won't be able to do much if we keep on standing here." He rubbed his shoulders - it was white chilly under the leaves of the twisted oak trees. "You lead - you're better in forests than I am."

Ezekiel started to lead this guy through the forest to a place called the cove. Getting to the cove was going to take a day or to but it was the only safe spot in the forest and the only possible way to get out of there.
While walking to the cove Ezekiel decided to make to make conversation to the guy because Ezekiel could tell he was a bit spooked and kind of creeped out randomly turning up in a forrest and because he was in a forest.
Ezekiel turned to the guy and asked "So Whats your name?"
Ezekiel spoke in a rather loud voice which made some bats and birds fly away and certainly scare the guy abit but he soon got his nerves back and replyed....

Eric followed this strange boy deeper into the forest, wondering how he knew his way around. Himself seem content to just follow, silent, black eyes fixed straight ahead. Eric watched him - usually Himself was a good judge of character, but Eric didn't dare talk to him in the presence of this pink-haired boy. He didn't want to freak the boy out, talking to what looked like air.
Himself didn't make any of his usual signs, however, that ment danger, so Eric was forced to rely on his own gut instincts.
The boy looked roughly.... Around 8ish, but Eric has never been good at judging human age. He was dressed in a warm black hoodie, and his eyes were a pulsing white - no irises or pupils to be seen. Eric didn't find that the least bit desturbing - he'd seen much, much worse. His hair was a shocking pink colour too. He didn't seem very treatening.
It took a moment for Eric to relise that the boy had asked him something. "Hmm?"
"I said, what's your name?"
"Oh. Eric." Eric watched as the bats cheeped in alarm at the boy's loud voice. "And yours is...?"
