huzzah! i'm Loring.

i love RENT for a lot of reasons.
@_@
it has a lot of great messages for people young & old,
like how to measure your life in love, and how to have an open mind.
to me, these messages are extremely important for today's youth,
because, well... just look at us.
it's also freakin' hilarious, and overall just awesome.
yeah, so. about me. as you can tell, i can be pretty lazy with
capitalization, so i don't even really bother with it.
also, i like music, video games [legend of zelda, ddr, & guitar hero = <3]
and roleplaying. i might not be on gaia all the time, [school] but i'll
try to be as active as i can. i also have a great sense of humor, so there.

 My username is sailormercury1 but everyone calls me Ami Favorite RENT Quote is from the song "Another Day" or "No Day But Today" i get confuzed xp its "Forget Regret OR Life is Yours To Miss" that is so true! Why I Love RENT So Much: It is inspirational because it is not just about your average made up fairy tales story! It is showing about what will and/or can happen in real life that people can do to help others ^^

I'm currently in a production of Fiddler on the Roof at my school. It rocks. 'Cept I'm in love with Tevye, and he's got a wife. sad

About Me ;o
Well... first of all, call me Jaye. I'm fifteen, open-minded, literate,
and a total RENThead. I have to listen to at least one song from
RENT a day to stay sane. My favorite characters are definitely
Maureen and Joanne. [It's a tie!]

I love their personalities, and their relationship.
[Plus I love Idina Menzel and Tracie Thoms, who play said
characters in the movie. Tracie isn't from the original cast,
but I like her better than Fredi Walker.]
Uh... I also like Evanescence [best.band.ever.] and reading.
And writing. I like that, too. I mostly write stories, but sometimes
poems and the occasional RENT fanfic.

I have a great sense of humor, and I'm a bit hard to insult.
And I have a strange obsession with ninjas. And VG Cats.

Why I Love RENT So Much: RENT is emotion. Pure burning hate, and the people strong enough to overcome it. Boundless joy and bottomless sorrow. It is an unparalleled delight insofar as musicals go. (Except, obviously, for The Phantom of the Opera...that's just addicting. But don't let me get started. Seriously.) I love it because it sends an inspirational message, and evokes such a wide range of emotions. (Really, I would not have been able to simply say that. I must make it difficult. 3nodding )

and
"Leave Your Conscience At The Tone" (hence the username.)
I love Rent because it gave me the courage to come out of the closet, and on a less profiound note the music is just spectacular.
