I dont know what it's like where you guys live, but in my town it seems like the girls are almost afraid of color. I dress in outfits quite similar even to those of some models in Seventeen, and people freak out. This is something I wish to change. Recently, the greatest amount of color I've seen on most girls was from the PINK clothing line from Victoria's Secret. I only have one thing from there... a pink cami, and I bought it at Goodwill!! LOL!! heart
Goodwill, secondhand shops, and antique stores RULE!!

I love how you think! I would die if I didn't have VV Boutique fancy name for Value Village. Sometimes I think all the teenagers are seriously going Emo. I would love to see a lot of Decora fans around.

That's why I love my friends. They're definitely not afraid to wear pretty colors, even my guy friends. Although, out of all of them, I wear the most black, but I always have lots of extra colored overshirts and accessories. 3nodding I'm so glad I can sew.

Heh, I wound up wearing an orange and brown shirt with bright candy-blue socks. I like mismatching colors and stuff, even if everyone else is too chicken doo to dress like you.

I agree! And the worst thing is, my sister is emo. She NEVER wears color, whereas I look like a rainbow vomited on me! It makes me kind of sad. sad

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU GUYS!
bright colors are WAY in right now. In fact, decora is THRIVING at my mall. hahaha! i found 2497320472390472374 rainbow dresses this weekend alone.
some cute dresses i found in pretty mainstream american stores: [x][x][x]
jumpers: [x][x][x]
tops: [x][x][x]
skirts/shorts: [x][x][x]
accessories: [x][x][x][x][x][x]
points of interest: [rue 21's 'bright idea' line] [claire's ICING 'top 20 trends']
i'm very excited this year.
also, i noted, last spring and still a bit in early fall [ and it struggled through winter ] egl-esque lacy frilly tops thrived. i didn't see too many poofy skirts, but those are in the uprise right now. :3 hurray!

[ where you are ]: You are right in a way but unfortunately even with the bright colours...There isn't anyone in my city who is really J-fashion crazy enough to deck out in decora. I mean I have seen some played down ones but nothing daring that would make me stop and stare. Cute clothes by the way! heart

You should come to the country that i live. Every girl dresses in really bright colours. It's like: you look to your right and you see a girl wearing a bright pink top with some white trousers. And then you -scared- look the other way and you see some girl all dressed in really (painfull) bright orange and red.
I get headaches from going out.

I'm different, I usually like matching things and very casual wear. Ocasionally I dress up. I've been hoping to change that this year and I'm going to get some more brightly colored shirts and such.

Hrmmm.... I seriously don't wear much colour...Except if it suits me && I feel in the mood. I like my gothic gear lol... Anyway... Girls 'round here(in a s**t hole town in Australia) haven't seemed to have got the memo that PINK isn't the only colour around! But then again they are all little skanks && ...well yes. They enjoy the colour pink WAY to much 'round here.
