((I've finished my plot here, though the thread can still be a place to start off rping. ^^))
Blaed whined a bit as she placed six beef jerky snacks into her grocery basket. "You always have that expression when there's beef jerky or I'm being weird, this is both so which is it," Blaed pouted at the Doronia that looked at her with glee as he rested on her shoulder. The Cyndaquil on the other shoulder remained silent as usual, but Blaed figured this was Trinka's personality. The three of them had become much closer now. Blaed took this as so since Trinka began riding on her shoulders. As for Jiru, the Doronia has always been the eternally cheerful part of the team.

Finishing off her grocery shopping with five packs of snack beverages: one of the Hi-C orange juice packs, and four of the Hersey Chocolate Milk packs, Blaed made her way to the cashier and swore the two pokemon were entertained by her insanity.
She remained suspicious as she hung her head while walking out of the shop. She was not upset, in fact she was happy to be getting ready for her departure. This was just how queer it was between the members of this trio.
"Yes, this is what we will be packing for the trip," Blaed burst out in answer to nothing, but not loudly to draw any attention.
"Dor!" Jiru chimed meeting Blaed's frazzled eyes with his happy ones.
Trinka amazingly enough stayed quiet. Next stop: to buy potions.

It was now one o'clock in the afternoon and so far buying potions was far more normal for Blaeddress. Maybe my nervousness is easing up. No, it's because I am so flustered I can't think straight and double back on my thoughts excessively. Why am I forgetting what foods will last three days? There must be plenty, more sensible ones than... Blaed looked at her groceries and sighed, Well, at least I'm playing safe and that's not so bad.
"Plus, you two like beef jerky, right?" Blaed continued out loud in a cheerful note. Blaeddress laughed nervously realizing that her remark must have sounded strange to the cashier. She knocked a potion over the counter when she brought her hand up to the back of her head, which cut her laugh short, turning it into an alarmed yell. Fortunately, she caught the potion and was thankful she at least retained reflexes.
"Dor!" Jiru chimed yet again.
This time the event earned a glance from her Trinka.
Having apologized and paid for her purchases before going on her way, Blaed made another odd exit. "Why don't we walk home through the beach?" Blaed smiled with a singsong fatigue evident in her facial expression making her appear like a happy zombie.
"Dor!"
And Trinka glanced at her again.

Before beginning their trek across the shore, Blaed took the time to sit and think while the three of them stared at the horizon together. It was great weather, no rain and a cool breeze blew across the expanse despite the shining sun making it cozy with her jacket but too cold if she had not worn it. What's more, her fire pokemon kept her warm as she snuggled against the two, hands in her jacket, pulling it closed across her and shoulders rising and falling as she took a comfortable intake of air to smell the sea.

Blaed had been thinking back at the times they spent at Smallwave, she knew everything was going to change, the fledgeling trainer continued to contemplate even as she commenced their journey across the sand. She began to feel worried, usually she felt confident about having become a trainer and very excited about the upcoming adventures but her thoughts lingered over memories about her clumsiness despite her new confidence. Will I be a good trainer for my pokemon, Blaed stopped abruptly at the thought. Trinka and Jiru looked at their trainer when she stopped. Blaed assumed they decided to walk the rest of the way as they hopped off her shoulders and looked at her with their signature personalities evident on their features. Blaed couldn't help but wonder whether they felt something was up. "Wanna walk across the sand? Okay then," Blaed smiled at her pokemon as cheerfully as she could to direct them from her worry. She kept up her smile as she lead them to begin walking again, but fell back into a bit of worry as they walked on, Blaed proceeding only half alert of the path.

The breeze, the sound of the waves, and walking beside her pokemon made Blaed feel much better. She smiled as she glanced at the two beside her, she was walking by the water while Trinka and Jiru traveled in line beside her on dry sand. They were still afraid of water which was understandable, but Blaed was pleased that they weren't as frightened as before. Trinka no longer showed worry in her eyes when they were out on the shore, but stayed in the dry sands. Jiru wouldn't say anything on the shore at first.

By the time they were nearly across the shore, Blaed was in high spirits again. She enjoyed these times with her pokemon when she could spend the entire day with them. A wide smile came to her face, evidence that her cheerful inspiration was no longer contradicted by doubt, and she breathed out merrily, "We'll be alright."
"Ack," Blaed let out shortly after. She had tripped on herself and landed face planted in the sand.
"Dor!" Jiru chimed.
And Trinka looked at her in her usual spark.
"This isn't funny," Blaed lifted herself to look at the two by her ankles, back to her childishness, though she was glad the three of them were back to their usual, at least high spirited fluff.

"We're home! I've finished chores this morning so I'll just water the plants while the two of you rest up. But first let's have a snack," Blaed announced.
"Dor!" Jiru hopped on her shoulder as she opened the door to their home. Trinka entered and settled herself on the sofa as Blaed and Jiru followed. Blaed lighted the room and petted Trinka as she went to the kitchen, moving briskly and starting to hum a happy tune, "I'll let you know when the snacks are ready, Trinka. So what'll we make, Jiru?"

Blaed prepared ham, cheese, lettuce sandwiches while Jiru watched intently from her shoulder, the sight of which added to her smile. On the table top by the clear doors leading out to the garden were a stack of her fathers university texts, the sight of which made her recall the pile of books she had been reading upstairs in her bedroom. She sighed at the thought of the kinds of food she was packing for her journey, which she had just shopped for earlier that day and did not reflect readiness though she read to prepare for her pokemon adventure constantly. She quickly waved these thoughts aside turning her sigh into a laugh as she declared, "Well, I won't let anything get me down anymore!"
The scene was aparently enjoyed by Jiru who chimed, "Dor!"
Their fuss did not change Trinka's state on the other room's sofa as she was either sleeping soundly or resting while seeming to pay them no heed.

"The snack's ready! Let's have it on the porch," Blaed grinned and jerked her head lightly for Trinka to hop on her shoulder. Blaed giggled lightly as she observed the contrast in her pokemon's personalities. Trinka was so calm in her movements and Jiru was so joyful.
Blaed let the two hop onto the porch swing before sitting down herself. She laid the plate of sandwiches and three cooled Hi-Cs between them. Eating was one of the things the Cyndaquil and Doronia had in common. They were both cute when they ate and Blaed giggled between bites when she watched them. When she handed them their sandwiches, Jiru accepted it with a mouthful and held it with his paws. Trinka took hers with both paws and ate silently, even if unintentionally--cutely.

Jiru stretched probably ready for a nap. They finished off their snacks with the Hi-Cs, which Blaed openned for and laid before them. Jiru stopped mid stretch and drank his beverage, while Trinka picked hers up and sipped it calmly. Blaed bursted out laughing, the comedy was too much for her! She really did enjoy the company of her new friends.
"Well, you two rest here while I water the garden," Blaed smiled after she calmed down and went to tend to the plants. Quickly cleaning up, Blaed went about watering the garden, making sure each of the flowers and such got enough water. All right, I'll prepare beef stew for dinner. Tomorrow's the big day. Blaed kept optimistic.
