I'd call it a highly enjoyable series, but not the best. even with how the mangaka plays with the cliches he uses there's still too many cliches lying about in the series and it lacks the depth one can see in some other series. quite frankly, I don't think the mangaka was trying to create something that could be called "the best" but rather something that lots of people could have fun reading. I think he succeeded in doing that.
granted, when I judge quality I go for quality of art, storytelling, character development and all that. others simply judge "best" and "worst" based on enjoyment or some other factors.

for all the people who said it's not the best YOUR WRONG heart Black Cat heart is my favorit manga seires (even more than naruto) so it gets a 100/10 it's the best and you know it xp

taoxxx for all the people who said it's not the best YOUR WRONG heart Black Cat heart is my favorit manga seires (even more than naruto) so it gets a 100/10 it's the best and you know it xp it's a fun manga, but really, it has too many technical flaws for it to be the best on an unbiased analysis. it IS my favorite series, but I'm not blind to the fact it has its weak points.

I personally don't think that it's the best manga I've ever read, but it's one of the few series I continue to buy (which means that it's one of my favorites). It's got weak points, sure, but then again, nothing's perfect.
