Hakama pants: queen-size flat bedsheet...it was less see-thru than cotton and will hold up to a lot of wear as opposed to thinner fabrics.
Looking at patterns online: Look at the pattern you like and write down the pattern number, then go to your local fabric store and look for the pattern. much cheeper that way.
