Okay I had this idea that I would right a Forgotten Realms Fanfiction but all the characthers in it will be based around this guild. To be honest I have no idea how well it'll work but if you would like to be a part, then please submit the required information.
Name: (Technically no need for it because I'll be using your username)
Race: Elves, Dwarves, Humans etc.
Weapons: longsword, scimitar, bow and arrow etc.
Profession: Ranger, Paladin etc.
Clothing and armour (Quite odd I know but go with it): cloak, robes, handguards etc.
I'll even take suggestions from the people who are in the fanfiction about how to improve their characters personality or relationships with others.

Name: Spec would be fine
Race: Elf or Half-Elf
Weapon(s): Quarterstaff and saber, darts for range
Profession: Ranger
Clothing and armor: travel clothes and a long coat of hardened Leather
God: Shaundakul
Personality: Concitered to be aloof and Distent, many think of him as nothing more then an absent minded vagabond; but looking into his eyes would show an ever alert man with a purpus. Spec is a man searching for something, only he himself doesn't know what that might be, he hopes that somehow it would simply make itself clear in the corse of his traveling. His whimsical personality is acually a frount hiding his confustion and disapointment over never finding a true calling in his life.
Constently traveling and never staying in one place for to long, Spec tries to learn as much about the world as he could as he walks though it beleving that knowledge aqured and properly applied is more worth while then the strongest sword arm. Dispite this, Spec is an acomplished swordsman, though he usually opts to settle any confromations he gets into with words or (if a fight is unavoidable) with his staff. Only when he truely see's himself in danger wold he resort to useing his blades.

Sorry but I need a little more info. Some that I forgot to ask before. Namely what God your character will worship.
Also I would like people to put down a bit about their characters personality. This will make it easier to write and I will also hopefully not get any angry pm's from people saying they don't like how I made their character a certain way.
I am also limiting the amount of people for this fanfiction to about 5. And since Nagikama and Rogue Specter have already put in that leaves 3.
Finally this is the first time I have actually made any kind of fanfiction so I will be writing it on my computer and on paper before putting it here, so bare with me.

Cool, I'll submit a character! Gimme a sec to find my trusty ol' character sheet...
Unless by saying that the fic is "on hold" means you currently aren't accepting new characters... Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by that.
If you just mean that your interest in the project has wavered, then I wish you the best of luck in continuing your work. 3nodding

First, I have a question about elven aging properties. gonk
My character, a sun elf, is a young boy... he has the appearance of an approximately 14-year-old human boy. However, I've been unable to give him an exact age, because I'm not sure if... er, "elf years" translate the same as human years in those early stages.
So is he just 14? Or would he be something like... 80? eek

acually, (though I really well could be wrong) I think that elves age normally probually up intill their late teens or early 20s
so yeah, I geuss he would just be 14 confused

That's what I had assumed, because Drizzt was trained until he was nine, at which point he was approximately the right physical stature of a nine-year-old.
And because another RPG, Record of Lodoss War, follows the same rules. In Lodoss, elves age normally until they reach 20 years, at which point they stay the same until they die of unnatural causes. Lodoss elves don't die of old age... they can only be felled in battle or otherwise...
...which I know is not the case with Forgotten Realms.
