I’ll be posting this one up weekly folks and it will entail questions relating to TV, movies, mythology, as well as other random tidbits so I won’t be able to tell you what to expect entirely.
I’ll be rolling dice to see where the answers go. Whee!!! Enjoy!
I’ll also be posting the answers anywhere from Fri-Sunday while attempting to post newly either on the weekend or on the Monday.

I remember this game being so hard as a kid even with 30 lives, but when I play it now, I use the cheat and don't even continue at all. Still good fun though. I think I'll play it tonight.

33:50, only died once...I probly would have finished sooner but I had to stop a few times to do work.
Moleje, maybe we should move this quiz to the gamers area after it's over instead of the usual archives so people can replay and compare best scores/best lives/best times/best whatevers
That sounds good I'll change the title into Contra/Konami Code Discussion.
That is once we're through with it here. I'll move it sometime at the end of the month.

I've never beaten Contra actually in fact I've only used this code ounce incidentally I still didn't beat that game. I've been told to download a rom and try again but seriously I wouldn't even stand a chance without my trusty old Nintendo controller.
One of these codes isn’t exactly a fake though two of them are total sham’a’lam.
The other code I’m referring to is actually for another Konami game
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II! I’ll reveal more later come answer time.
I dreamt that I beat Contra once, yay for dream me!
My crack team of me and my sis never did beat that Shredder either!
I'd like to hear about anyone here actually beating Iron Tank or Wizards & Warriors. *snorts*
I was starting to have gamer compensation/complexity issues. *bows in apology*

Answer: The classic Konami code is code #2!
Code #1 is a code for TMNT2 , I think it granted you more lives though I can't be completely certain of that.
I always liked the flow of code number one.
I normally struggle to remember code number two.
I made up codes 3&4 so they shouldn't work for anything that I know of. domokun
