I'm a bit confused. I just read a post where someone said there
was only up to book three. We all know there's going to be a
book three, but I haven't heard tell of a book four.

There's four elements. Why not four seasons?

i don't know yet. but, the third book might be called fire when they go and beat the fire nation then they might do a book 4 called air when they discover that some air benders lived. just hidden from the rest for the world.

Ang already knkows airbending, they're going through the seasons as Ang learns the bending disciplines. He started with water, booked one, earth book two and fire will be three, but he already knows air, so there's no need for a fourth, at least that how I think it's happening.

there might be a book 4 though having to do with what happens after the war and how they defeat the firelord i hope that is what happens cuz if it stops i will be mad

You know, they might just fake it out, playing it like they are going to resolve the war in book three, but end u going into book for cuz I don't know about you but I think aang is going to need some airbender help so...

as it has been said, they don't know if another book is going to be made, but if they do, it's going to be about rebuilding the nations after the war. i think that would be a really good idea, because besides the fact that it would mean more avatar, i think it would be nice to have a season where it's not all about fighting the fire nation and just them trying to restore total peace!

There SHOULD only be 4, because it's summer now in the show, so the comet's coming soon, and why would they go farther than that? Plus the seasons are what elements Aang has learned, and he knows Air already.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, there will only be three books, unless Nickelodeon decides to purchase more from the creators, who said they would be more then happy to make some more for them, but unless Nick wants them, the series will end after Book 3.

The Creators have said that the series was planned to run Three Seasons or Books 1-3. Meaning if Nick decides to ask for a fourth Season the current Storyline will be finished.

My guess is if there is ever a book 4 it will deal with the Recovery of the world after the war and the possible Rebuilding of the Air Benders.

Avatar is such a hit how could they not ask for anoher season... i said this in another topic but if they end it in 3 there dissapointing about 4.5 billion people
