Rai sits in a wooded area waiting for Rob to show up. As Rai waites he pulls out his book and continues to read the book.

Rai turns the page of his book with out any sign of realising that anyone else was there. "So that is how that device works." He mumbles to himself.

The Rai that was sitting there reading a book starts to drift apart as if it were made of... smoke. "Surprise!" Rai yells as he kicks Rob from behind. "I do hope this is just because you were not expecting that." Rai says in a calm voice. This Rai's goggles are off and his eyes are black.
"you got me there but i will get you back for that" rob said as he rushed at rai

Rai makes a few seals as he laughs at Rob. "Smokescreen jutsu." He says completely calm. "I hope you like this jutsu seeing how you will only see the black smoke." A thick smoke rolls onto the area seemingly out of nowhere. Rai is visible for a few moments as the smoke surrounds him then he vanishes. Rai then activates his eyes. "Katongan" He says. Rai knew from when he was first taught this jutsu that visiblty would be down to 6 inches in front of his face if he did not have these eyes. Rai looks and notices Rob comming to where he just was. Rai reaches out a leg for Rob to trip over.

rob quickly stoped to a halt. he was obviously confused by this. obviously sumthin he did not expect

"Are you not going to come for me my friend? Shall I come for you then?" Rai's voice seems to be comming from somewhere near. "Ok I will then." Rai says as his hands come out of the ground tring to grab Robs legs to pull him under the ground.

rob jumped into the air in the nick of time. if he would have waited there a couple seconds longer, he would have surely been pulled under. rai only made a sratch mark on rob.

Rai, realising that he missed, keeps comming up changing his grab into an uppercut in mid stream and tries to hit Rob with his closed fist.

Rai backs off away from Rob as soon as he is out of the ground. "Please tell me you can do better. I was hoping for somewhat of a challenge." Rai looks at Rob. "Be glade I have not brought out any of my really powerful jutsu, or my blades." Rai says as he dissapears into the smoke again.

"i am just gettin warmed up" rob said with a smirk
his eyes were starting to turn a bit red.
rob did a couple handsigns "Flame vortex jutsu" rob yelled as a vortex of fire headed towards rai

Rai looked at the oncomming flame vortex. The next second the flames hit. As the smoke stays there if Rob would go and look he would see a burned log. 'Shoot that was too close I am getting two cocky.' Rai thinks as he looks on from the safty of a tree. He looks again at the scorch marks on his jacket. 'And this one I just had cleaned too oh well.' Rai decides to have some fun. The next second Rai's fist comes out of nowhere and flying toward Rob right at the face.

Wonders into the area. "Sorry if I am interrupting anything. I just came over to figure out what all the smoke is about." Sits down safe on hill just bove the fight to watch.
