This dream scared the crap out of me.
It started out in the middle section of my backyard. There was a 10-player DDR mat lying across the astroturf- there were 10 up/down arrows, but the left/right arrows overlapped each other for each player. Somehow, the mat got flooded and this guy I know who's in the police academy stole it and turned it into a banner.
The next thing I know, I'm in the police force (but still in my backyard). I'm at a table supporting an animal rights campaign, talking about how another campaign is doing absolutely nothing. I end up watching a video issued by this other campaign about why we shouldn't abuse animals, but animal abuse was used to create some sort of sick support for their video. There was a person with their hand on a table, and a kitten was on the table next to the hand. Both were covered with needles, acupuncture-style. Someone began hitting the needles that were in the hand, and the hand was twitching. The same was done to the needles in the kitten, and it was crying and screaming.
I woke up with a start after that, and I actually went to see if my cat was alright.
