are all on a train that is traveling through southern France. As the train is going along they pass a field in which is a single black sheep.
The biologist watches it as the train passes it by and then turns to the other two and says, "Wow! The sheep in France are all black."
The physicist chuckles a bit and shakes his head before saying, "You biologists, always generalizing. What we can say is that at least one of the sheep in France is black."
The biologist is a bit disgrunteled and grumbles about physicists adding unneeded layers of complexity to things.
The mathematician however is, himself, chuckling and finally he speaks. "What we can say is that there is at lest one sheep in France of which at least one side is black."
