I'm in the process of writing a short fic in Esperanto. After I finish, I'll likely translate it back into English. I'd like to post it here so other Esperantists can learn through conversation between the characters and just practice reading in general. I find that making myself write in Esperanto not only helps me learn the language more, but also on how to make ideas and thoughts more clear through writing.
Which is what Esperanto is really all about.
The fic I'm writing now isn't done, but I did translate an English fic that I had written - I liked how all the verbs were acting. I think it turned out pretty nicely. Please try to read through the Esperanto version before comparing to the English version.
sweatdrop Also, please note that this is a DBZ fic about Vegeta reflecting on his relationship with 'Kakarotto' - can be seen as non-yaoi or yaoi. I like to think of it as non-yaoi though.
EDIT:
I just finished the story - sweatdrop which turned into an exceedingly sappy ... thing, but it's still done! So I'll post it anyway. The title is "Fruktoj Kaj Legomoj."
It's another DBZ fic, and uh ... well, there's something wrong with me, you see. I always turn Gokuu into a girl. Though it does make for a slightly easier read when you can distinguish who is doing/saying what with the pronouns.
Oh, and for any DBZ-non-readers, Vegeta calls Gokuu by his/her Saiyan name, Kakarotto.
Another note is that I had to Esperanto-size DBZ by fiddling with the word Saiyan. I finally came up with Saijanto about a week ago.
So a little run-down is this:
Saijo - Saiyan; noun (probably an unusable word)
Saija - Saiyan; adjective (of course)
Saijanto - Saiyan-person/male-or-female
Saijantino - Saiyan-person/female
Also - there's a lot of these, huh? - there is some dirty language in here (Malbona Vegeta! Malbona!), but it doesn't go into any smut. But here's the Dirty Word List that I used. I really didn't use many of the dirty words in this list, but anything you haven't seen before might be in it.

Does it matter whether you have read DBZ before reading the story? Because I haven't.

I have a fanfiction.net account too. Two completed stories from almost a year ago, and about 5 or 6 others.
