fashion and rock really do collide or mix sometimes..and we all say that it is a form of self-expression..self-expression it may be but we all have an "arrogant human side", cmon its human nature..yes, im admitting that i do have that one, that sometimes rock seems to be exclusive only to all the "right people or deserving people"..THIS MIGHT SOUND REALLY ARROGANT, but hey, we do feel it sometimes right?
like what we are talking about, in a gig scenario, you feel like the artist is being degraded if that kind of people(that sound so discriminating..yaykz..) would show up in that show and make a mess out of that show--yes rock shows are supposed to be wild and fun--but sometimes a little too much of something is really not fun at all..example, those kind of people usually (yes ive nver been to a hell lot of shows but ive witnessed a decent number) are the ones who always do these annoying things--like nambabato ng bote, or kung anu-ano pa..at minsan pinapatigil n nga ng artist ang pagtugtog kase sobrang gulo..and the fact that they are what? only 14, 15, 16.. years old..
we cannot blame anyone for this matter, cos yes self-expression cannot be questioned, thats why it has the term SELF..only you can questioned that concept..but if that self-expression is bordering to something that is inconsiderate, well that may be a problem..
having a misdemeanor or juvenile deliquency doesnt show in what youre wearing..but it shows in what you do..
thanks po and sorry if anyone might have been offended by this..
respect and peace po tau lhat for rock and roll.. mrgreen

ang point ko lang, wala tayong karapatang idiscriminate or ijudge sila based on the way they dress or the way they look. pero kung nanggulo na sila, ibang usapan na nga yon.

Honestly,I do agree with them, purpleyam with the fact of 'self expression'. Discriminating between points of view in a fashion and staying simple is lame (sorry for that, but true).I mean.Yeah, you don't have to be SO black to be called a goth.Yeah, you don't have to have your hair spikey at the back and your bangs cover almost half of you hair to be called emo.Yeah, you don't have to sacrifice your flesh to get those tatoos to be called 'hardcore'.Yeah you don't have to be so cool-looking to be 'IN' the crowd.BUT,I believe that when it comes to the music genre of ROCK,every form of rock music has their own FASHION STATEMENT.Sa tingin ko,yun ang way nila para i-represent ang music na hilig nila. We know that most ROCK music are rebellous that's why it expresses itself through music.People who are rock lovers and enthusiast are called rockers right? So as well are the music, rockers expresses themselves through how they look.
