If anybody has positive or negative feedback, PLEASE SHARE! I need constructive criticism more than anything else. Thank you! And, yes, I KNOW I'm horrible at describing skin color. -_-;;; Sorry...
Note: Gwen's world is of my own creation. It's loosely based on the Victorian times, the Industrial Revolution, and a tiny bit of the southern USA during the 1960s.

Name: Gwenyth Ginevra Pineswood

Nicknames: Gwen, Gwennie, GG, Sis, Sir, Big Red, Lady, Gwent, Gwendall
Age: 19ish-20ish

Race/Religion: Lynxist and...Lynxist. I need new names.

Appearance: Most, if not all, Lynxists have darker skin (think coffee with just a dash of milk), very dark reddish-brownish-but-mostly-reddish-auburnish hair that's usually either wavy or curly, and almond-shaped light brown or hazel eyes. Gwen's hair is shoulder length and CURLY. It's a huge, frizzy "mane." She usually keeps it tied back in a bun, with her favorite green ribbon. She's very tall, about six feet one inch, and lanky. She's got bony wrists, hands, knees, ankles, and shoulders. Gwen's really lean and flat. Almost everything about her body is sharp angles, including her face. She almost looks like a feminine version of her father; a strong, slightly crooked nose, thin mouth, squared jaw, and prominent cheekbones.

Clothing: This part needs a bit of explaining, so I thought I'd give it its own section. See, in Gwen's world country, women don't have equal rights. She and her mother are part of the LWLF, or Lynxist Women's Liberation Front. They're feminists. Gwen took the idea to the next extreme when she was about fifteen years old and started to wear exclusively men's clothes. That's right; top hat, gloves, cravat, shirt, jacket, slacks, the works. She says that men's clothes are more comfortable anyway, which is probably true. Also, she feels that she looks better in men's clothes. Oh, and she wears big, round, bronze-wire-rimmed glasses to read and write with. Her father wears pince-nez. Just a fun fact.

Family: Gwen lives in a town called Oakwood with her mother Leona, her father Frederick, and her seven-year-old sister Matilda, or "Tilly." No, Tilly and Leona don't crossdress. Yes, Frederick supports the LWLF. No, Leona isn't a dominatrix psychobitchwife. Yes, they are overall a nice family. A little quirky, but most of my characters are quirky. Especially since I made the world up.

Personality and Stuff: I think that Dan, one of my other MCs, said it best, so I'll just quote him. "She's a snarkheaded, elitist, snobby, bad-tempered raincloud-humpin', gender-confused b***h." Okay, maybe Dan is just out to make Gwennie look bad, but that quote pretty much covers how she comes off to strangers. Whether the extra layer of grumpiness is just an act to counteract the "submissive woman" ideal is unknown, but Gwen seems to enjoy being known among her friends as "the intimidating one." She snaps at pretty much anyone who crosses her, gets personally offended when somebody says something bad about the LWLF, and can cast evil-eye glares that would give a moose the jitters. Because, y'know, moose are brave. Gwen's also a bit on the arrogant side of the spectrum, feeling that her being a part of the LWLF and her inborn love of math somehow gives her the upper hand. (A note on the LWLF thing: She doesn't believe that women should be treated BETTER than men, just equal. If she punched a man in the face, she'd be very pissed if he didn't punch her back. That sort of equal.) She's gets annoyed quite often at trivial things, and even more so at the things that matter. Extremely loyal to the point of obsessiveness, but the obsessiveness only shows itself in extreme situations. Is a strong believer in the idea that family should stick together, and the Lynxist idea of "family" means both blood relations and close friends. As much as she loathes to admit it, she actually enjoys doing certain domestic chores. Isn't a particularly good chef; she has the tendancy to either overcook or burn things. She's been known to make a decent meal on occasion, though; it's just that she gets frustrated too easily and ends up botching everything. The only things Gwennie would openly admit to being afraid of are roadkill, Lynxist goblins (sort of a relgious/children's thing, and they need a name), possums, and mirrors at night.

Self-Concept and Anything Else I Forgot: Deep down, Gwenyth is really very afraid that she'll never be married. Although she loathes the idea of needing a relationship to be happy, she knows she isn't always the most enjoyable person to be around and is seriously afraid that all of the "decent men like Papa" are gone. She's a pessimist when it comes to herself, but a forceful optimist when it comes to other people. It may be a double standard, but Gwen just HATES whiners. She's sort of a "Be a hard worker or shut the hell up" kind of person.

...Done. 3nodding Thanks for reading. You deserve a cookie just for subjecting yourself to that textwall o' drivel. Constructive criticism is appreciated! Thank you!

Aw, something about her is freaking adorable. I especially like the fact about her worried about the fact she'll never be married - it gives her some depth beyond her personality, yes? I think I sometimes skipped a line or two so perhaps it would be better if you made it more colourful and gave more paragraphs.
