I'm curious to see what everyone regards as 'Must Have' items for the campground (things you stock up on before ascending)
I always make sure to have these things: Cottage, bartender, chef, clockwork maid, and the Feng Shui things.
I don't do PVP so I don't tend to bother with that stuff. What about you guys? What do you always get?

I always get a Newbiesport tent and an Instant House (mostly for the rollover healing). Barskin tent I get if I happen to get the parts while adventuring in the forest. Cottage I've only gotten once; anticheese is not exactly common.
Meat Maid I get if I'm a muscle sign. Evil Golden Arches I get if I get the parts when in the copse anyway.
And that's it. My campground is quite empty most of the time.

I haven't ever ascended. whee Does this stuff disappear everytime you do?

yes, they disappear if you ascend.
A pagoda if you're lucky enough.

Pagoda sure is nice. o_o And... I like having lots of adventures, so maids are a must for me. XD As well as chef and bartender in a box. Could care less about the evil golden arches, but I usually end up with them.
I'm considering getting all those PVP stuff and try PVPing myself... I plan on going for the trophy for reaching level 30 this time around, and if I'm at a very high level such as that... I might as well allow PVPs and find some people to pwn. ._. There are trophies that apply for PVP stuff as well anyway..

Bartender skull in the box, meat maid (if you untinker the meat car and have the frilly skirt and maiden wig in your inventory when you ascend, it's easy to set up again). I don't bother with the Feng Shui stuff or the Pagoda, and if I get the golden arches I'll put those in but I don't really try for it.
I usually set up the barskin tent right away, but this run I'm going to have some extra anticheese so I'll start with the cottage.

Sandcastle, clockwork bartender, clockwork maid, toaster, arches, pagoda, all the pvp stuff even though I don't pvp.
Pretty much everything except the chef.

9 picket fences, pagoda, meat maid, beanbag chair, house, and all of the grimmore items you can place in the house. No hobo stuff, too hard to get, or else useless.
