I really like adventure games, and I've found a few online for free!

Please check out this page at Wikipedia to learn what an Adventure Game is if you're not sure!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventure_game

Here are a few sites I hope I can keep adding to this:

http://www.agdinteractive.com/ They're trying to remake a few classic adventure games here like Kings Quest, and they've done a marvelous job too! Make sure you download the sound and music files they add a whole new depth to these revamped games.

http://www.studiotrophis.com/wc.php The White Chamber is a horror sci-fi thriller adventure game. There are a few different endings in this game that you can access depending on your actions.

http://www.homestarrunner.com/games.html Just blow up the Peasent Quest ship to play a satirical adventrue game courtesy of the brothers Chaps. I admit that I had to find a walkthrough for this game some bits just don't make any sense despite the hilarity.

http://www.abc.net.au/chiko/ Chiko Accidental Alien is an educational adventure game with lots of puzzle style mini games to challenge as you advance through a fun park style alien world with your ultimate goal being to return to earth.

http://www.freeonlinegames.com/play/10564.html This is a link to Choco Museum its really a scrolling click game for flash media but it has a strong adventure game feel to it.

http://games.mvm.com/halloween/halloween.html K-mart's Haunted House is a plug for K-mart products put together into an experiment of advertisement evyl gone horribly right! The game is cute short and a bit of fun.. there even is a last boss of sorts he's kind of a celebrity too! The game took me 12 minutes my first go around, oh and the character outfit selection for this game is sweet!

http://www.adom.de/ Acient Domains of Mystery or ADOM
This game is very complicated and if I remember correctly it has text based graphics, but the adventure is certainly there take a look! (We can Thank Harried for sending this our way.)

http://www7.kingdomofloathing.com/login.php?notloggedin=1&loginid=823f67d8b96e4a1ea8c11869c4a20e60 (KoL! Has obtained the official Virix stamp of approval.)
The Kingdom of Loathing is a 2D sticks graphics MMORPG of sorts with a definete adventure game feel to it. The game is filled with punny and parody style humor, while the economy of the game revolves around meat as a currency, plus the character classes are an absoulte hoot! I'd swear by my liver of steal that you'll at least get a smile out of this ackwardly rerfreshing game.

Maple Story seems like a fun game but its more of a MMORPG than an adventure game.

Kingdom of Loathing is fully endorsed by Virix.

It's a browser-based, free-to-play, rpg adventure game with stick figures. Meat is used for currency, and the class system is hilarious. You can find me as either Imogen or Mabel for help, or check out the KOL Wiki.

*smiles* Oh god Kingdom of Loathing just looks so~ cool I can't wait to play I'm having so much trouble choosing a class they're all so absurdly fantastic!

(I've been playing the game a bit today and I'm so hooked, I definetly like the humor it's punny.)

I'm Moleje on there to, I'm a female Turtle Tamer.

There's so much to look at! I don't know if I have the time!

Are they similar to Gaia in any way? Do I get to interact with anyone?

I have a character on Kingdom of Loathing...which I haven't really played, yet. I'm pickier than I used to be. I need more colors and better pictures! I don't remember my characters name, I think it's just Bleu_Fyre....not sure.
