The East Wing connects the sanctuary of The Souls to a invisible snag in the vortex of Limbo, and allows it to stay in one spot, without being sucked into the nothingness of the Plane. Many used this place to research and test out magics, or anything else they had in mind.

Aspen took a step or two, eyeing the void pit warily. A sudden fear locked over her, but she brushed it off. Fear of such a thing was irrational. Why should she fear death, if her death would lead toward the reincarnation of Xillixanna? With that thought in mind, she went after Kreggins, not giving the sudden paranoia another thought.
"Arrorikar? I've never been there before..." she said almost absently. Hells, she hadn't even been outside of the Hook Coast until a few hours ago. It was probably all for the best, though; the area in itself was rather boring, to her at least, and she needed to branch out if she wanted to make the Lords of Dust a more global religion.

//ooc: Short. I don't care. Typing filler about the Lords of Dust gets boring fast, and no one cares.//

((... sad 3nodding ))

He ran down some stairs, almost losing balance several times from his rush. He got down to the bottom with Aspen behind him, looking through several cabinets. The circular platform held several tables and shelves, all full of different weapons. In fact, it seemed there was every weapon a person could think of, of every make. Projectiles and the like. Kreggins pulled a drawer out and loaded his small bag with many potions, though it never seemed to stuff at all. Closing the drawer, he moves to a desk and inserts throwing knives into slits in his armor. Undoing his right arm's leather, he clips a piece of metal on, replacing the green, grass stained armor after. His fingers split into a "V" as a long knife shot out from his wrist, his hand making a fist after. "I'm ready now. Pick out any weapon of your choice. As long as you can use it well." He excalimed, the dagger shooting back into his wrist.

Aspen nodded slowly, her metallic blue eyes sweeping the room into perspective. She had no skill with the blade or the bow, so those were automatically out of the question. The only thing she had ever mastered in use for combat was...
Her eyes stopped on a shelf, and she held out her hand to open it, seeing if it would bite or attack her in any way. Sensing no danger, her hand sought the item that had lead her to approach this stand; a morning star. Taking the slender weapon, topped with a spiked ball at the top, she narrowed her eyes, judging whether she should take it or not. The concept and weilding of the weapon wouldn't be much different than the mace she had always used beforehand, only this would be easier to kill with. With the mace, one relied on the power to crush bones, but with the morning star, it could draw blood regardlessly. Pondering this, she gripped the leather-bound handle, testing to see if it was too heavy or too light for her. It felt a bit light, but she would be able to get used to it soon enough.
"All right, I'm ready," Aspen said solemnly, wrapping the spiked head in a cloth she found nearby so it wouldn't damage her leg while strapped to her side.

Kreggins nodded happily, running back up the steps. Though the many glass bottles in his bag should have been creeking or even smashing, they made no noise at all. He got up to the top with Aspen and held out a gold eye that he got from under his cloak. A bluish-green portal opened up, clear as it was. It showed Astrodoth on the other side, green grass and large peaks in the distance. A very lush terrain. He entered it, but as both of them went through, right before he did, Kreggins could see it shimmer into a dusty, desert terrain. he tryed to back out, but couldn't, as he fell down, into the sand, followed closely by his female companion. "...Woops?" He asked, looking around. He got up and looked at his golden eye, trying to reactivate another portal, but it wouldn't work. At all... "Ok. We're stuck here. Lets get going before sand raiders get here..." He exclaimed, refering to the shining portal that was made in the sky. Many people for many miles could see that. He spoke as if he'd been here before...
