Another band that I can't believe doesn't have a thread already here. Am I gonna have to make everything?
Anyway, New York psychedelia band from the 60's. They were compared in greatness to the Beatles and the Stones. They were pals with Warhol and Bowie. Lou Reed, their lead had a successful solo venture and has that song that everyone knows, "Take a Walk on the Wild Side"
