The History of the Wolven Lair In a city called Demonia, wolf demons lived in peace and harmony. The species stands like humans and they resemble humans, however, most of them have fur covering their bodies. For many years, the species has gone without harm. Up until recently, there have been no contact with the outside world. Nothing has ever harmed the wolves in this place. One person named Itsukei stumbled upon the villiage of wolf demons. Those that entered the village were turned to half-breeds. The peace and harmony so long desired of these gently creatures was now disturbed and attacked. Many of the wolves died except the few who were able to escape to a safe haven outside of Demonia. There, half-breeds and wolves lived under the constant care of their leader, Lady Aiyuki. Hoping for a new creation of life and the rebuilding of her once thriving home, Aiyuki led her people back to the place of distruction. She wanted the strongest men to be breed, therefore, she herself gave birth to wolf demons and her lady-in-waiting, Naoi, gave birth to the strongest half-breeds. They built the villiage back up but kept it hiden inside a cave. This was known as the Wolven Lair. It was guarded by a hundred strong men, half wolf demons and the others half-breeds.

The Characters The characters can be whatever you want them to be. If they are from the Wolven Lair, they must be either a child (these are the royal brats <.<), guard (these are the people who protect the city), or civilian (these are those persons who reside in the Lair). You can be as many characters as you want as long as they can be distinguished.Quote: Tsukarei sat at his post outside of the Lair. It was just about time for him to go in. His fur was light brown and cover his entire body. He only had to wear armor. He was a full wolf demon. He was nearing his 489th year of life. He had an identical twin brother named Mikarei. He had three other sibblings born on the same day as he. He was the loner of the litter and stuck to himself mostly because he was the strongest of the litter. He yawned as it was time for lunch and everyone could break. The guard teams switched. He switched with a half-breed and half-breeds switched with wolf demons. Sometimes you couldn't tell the difference between half-breeds and wolf demons because all wolf demons didn't have full body fur. He switched with his buddy and went to the courtyard to eat. His dark green eyes rested on the courtyard just ahead. Quote: Lady Isasha looked out at the soliders coming in. She was hoping to see her friend and crush, Tsukarei. Her tail wagged back and forth. She had to wear clothes because she was a half-breed. She had wolf ears covered with grey fur. Her grey hair was in a single braid that stoped at her waist. She ran down the steps passing by her sibblings who were eating. She had no twin in her litter. she ran out and jumped into Tsukarei's arms. "Tsukarei. I missed you so much." Quote: Saro fled, racing through the streets and quickly scaling a wall, a guard shouting as he turned the corner and chased after her. She was a half-breed, with black ears and tail, along with a grey eyes. A simple dark grey shirt and black pants were all she wore, though the pants had lots of pockets. She looked at the necklace in her hand, was one thing, which could probably feed her for about a week when she sold it, worth getting chased all over the city? She slipped it in her pocket and muttered darkly under her breath when she saw soldiers coming in from outside, they would probably hear the guard behind her yelling. Sighing, she kept running, hoping she could loose him as she dropped over the wall, cursing again as she saw two lovers not far from her, praying the guy wasn't familiar because she'd seen him as a guard on duty. As a thief, she went out of her way to avoid them. She started to go by them, cringing as she heard the guard shouting something along the lines of 'stop the theif.' which few couldn't hear as he went to find a way around the wall. Quote: A girl was waiting impatiently at the steps, waiting for Isasha to get back. She looked a few years younger than Isasha, though there were no other similarities. Her hair, such a dark red as to be thought black at times, framed her face, her bangs chin-length while the rest fell to her shoulders. She had blue-grey eyes, which revealed her mood by changing color, but was only recognizable by those who knew her. She wasn’t tall, a normal height, but had a lithe and voluptuous form, one which a model would envy, that was cloaked in a simple shirt and skirt. Arya saw Tsukarei coming, carrying her sister, and she ran up to them. "What happened?" she asked, bouncing up and down, worry evident on her face. Quote: Zeff stumbled upon a cave somehow. He looked at the huge maw of an entrance, and listened should anything already be in there. All he really wanted was a little shelter, the night would come sooner or later and then it would be cold, and he didn't like the cold. Zeff was a fairly strange thing to look at, somewhere between the appearances of a human and a tiger. He had the ears and tail of a tiger, and his face extended very slightly like a muzzle, with appropriately sharp teeth, and he had orange-with-black-stripe fur in symmetrically placed patches all over his body. His hands and feet had retractable claws where a human would have fingernails. Even his skin had a very slightly striped-seeming tint. He was wearing simple but somewhat tattered traveler's clothes (a shirt and a pair of pants). He didn't ask for much in life, just food and the occasional shelter.
He looked and saw several notes. The date of the last time he'd read it and the age he'd been put him at between five and six centuries now, which meant only one and a half to two and a half until his fur turned gray*. He shuddered slightly at that thought, and continued. He looked down from the starting point until he saw the word 'mute', and read the words around it. I was cursed by a sorceress because I wouldn't do her the honor of speaking to her after she annoyed my by not being quiet. The curse is of muteness, and the terms state that the only method of breaking it is to "care for someone". Maybe I'll study it when I decide I really even need to talk. Several years but few lines later was the next entry mentioning the curse: I've begun studying the meaning of caring for someone. Mostly the consideration among humanoids seems to be that of love. But I've never experienced anything of the sort. Perhaps I can find out what triggers it with more study. That was enough to refresh his memories. Several more entries recounted how he had tried to find out information from people in various stages of the condition they called 'love', but it was simply something one could not understand without experiencing it one's self. He was, in fact, capable of perceiving it and finding from appearance and sound of voice most everything about a lover's condition.
Quote: Later, a half-breed girl about 13 years old was waiting outside the servants quarters, waiting to be told where she'd be, although she already knew. Takari wore a long white and red robe(like the pic) and looked as though full of innocence and naivety, perfect for any like the Twins. She had been told to watch Lady Isasha, and to follow her around as a servant, and too keep hidden her skills with the fans she carried, whose sharp edges served as knives, and at fighting. She was a spy, and ran away from home a few years ago. The thieves had taken her in, and she was used for this sort of thing several times, protecting those the thieves wanted watched for unknown reasons.
Quote: Adriana was a half-breed girl, she had fur on her entire body but it was too thinly placed to not need clothes. Therefore she wore a simple skirt and shirt, which were somewhat modest. She had the thickly furred ears and long tail of a full demon, as well as the sharp teeth, and her hands and feet were partially paw-like in appearance, having claws. Her fur and her hair, cut shoulder-length and otherwise untouched, were a deep blue, and her eyes nearly the same. She had a somewhat higher-pitched voice, and a positive way of thinking that many people she knew referred to as being “painfully cheerful”. It was very difficult to get her mad, but when she was mad it was nearly impossible for anyone to stop her doing what she wanted. She was intelligent, not air-headed like some people with her way of thinking, but liked to believe that almost everyone had some good in them.
Adriana had been kidnapped when she was young, around thirteen or fourteen years old. The kidnappers were a fairly small gang guilty of petty thievery and the kidnapping of people who were rich but not famous for ransom. That was what Adriana’s parents were, but the ransom was never paid for her so they kept her. They took pity on her, because they weren’t exactly evil people, and raised her like a daughter. She was fine with that because they treated her much better than her real parents had. After a while they had her leave so that she wouldn’t be tethered to a life of crime like they were, to let her go and get as honest a job as she could.
Quote: Nakaro was one of the few people who lived in the dark area. It was mostly for those people who were banished from the wolven and non-wolf villiages in the Lair. Instead of allowing them to run freely and maybe release the location of the Lair, they were put in their own section of the village. Nakaro was actually royalty at a time until he was caught kissing one of the royal wolf demons. It wasn't correct for a wolf demon and a half-breed of royal decent to be caught together. No one really knew of him except the older people who lived at the castle. he saw the little half-breed crying. His black trenchcoat, given to him by his new found family, flowed behind him as he walked. He'd always been a sucker for crying girls. "Hello, miss. Aren't you suppose to be in the village?" His dark brown hair was staight and ended at the middle of his back. His red eyes were covered by dark shades as he looked at her. His skin was pale from his lack of sunlight. Quote: Janiera looked around her crystal room. "Hmm..." She was technically human, but was an extremely good sorceress. She had managed to use magic to extend her youth far beyond the norm, and in fact she was over a thousand years old by now. Her hair had still changed color, though, and it was a silver-gray color. She was apparently around eighteen years old, and quite beautiful in her long white dress that she wore. She had sparkling blue eyes that shone all the brighter whenever she was up to some mischief, which was often. She lived in a tall tower out in the middle of nowhere, but teleported to places every once in awhile because she enjoyed messing with people. Right now she was looking for something interesting to do. Quote: His name was Zerak. "What do you want?" he said to the unseen attacker. He saw the left hand (for the right was on his neck, apparently) point at him, and then around the room. "I don't understand," he said. The right claw went closer to his neck, and he impuslively leaned his head backwards. Then the left pointed again to him and the room, and made a slight expression. "Oh! What am I doing here? I dunno," he said. The claws were drawn yet closer to him. "Okay okay!! I'm a thief, fine. I get money from other people!" he said. Really he was a noble, but he rather enjoyed the thrill of stealing from people. Except, of course, for things like this. He was a twenty-year-old half-breed, with a general strong figure, though he was far more built for stealth and speed, and hands, feet, and ears that were similar to a full breed's. His hair and where he had fur were a brown coloration, and his eyes were a greenish blue. He was presently wearing black velvet shirt and pants: Though this wasn't what he usually wore around 'people', it was his usual thieving wear. He had the unusual ability to 'feel' the body heat of anything living around him, and usually know what it was, where it was, and what it was doing. He hadn't expected to find anyone actually here, this 'outsider' house had only been built recently. He wasn't all that great of a fighter, at least not without the advantage of darkness so that he could 'feel' what others couldn't see.

"Good afternoon, Lady Hitsuna. How are you doing?" Tsukarei smiled as she jumped into his arms and held her. Is she getting lighter? He put her back down on the ground and looked around, seeing a guard chasing after a half-breed. He sighed thinking he should help her get out of it. A small pinch brought his gaze back to Isasha. "Oww. When will you realize that pinching hurts?" He smiled a bit looked down at her watching her facee flush. She looks beautiful when she blushes. Very beautiful. "Have you been eating well? You seem to get lighter everytime I see you."

Lady Isasha had looked after the girl who was running. She pinched Tsukarei to get his attention. She listened as he talked to her asking her questions, blushing when he smiled down to her. She remembered all of his questions. He had a habit of asking questions and not waiting on their answers. "Firstly, You know I don't like being called Lady Hitsuna. If anything use my first name." She raised her hand stopping him from replying. She knew he didn't like being stopped, and she like to tease him. He folded his arms and listened. "Second, I'm doing well. Pinching doesn't hurt me at all. I can pinch you again and it won't hurt me. I'm eating fine. You're just imaging things." I'm just not trying to get any bigger. She pouted a bit when his gaze shifted else where. it made it seem like he wasn't listening to her. She lifted her hand to pinch him again and he stopped her hand smiling down at her, his dark green eyes looking into her light brown ones.

She rolled her eyes at them, pausing against a wall to catch her breath. Unfortunatly, she was still within hearing of the two. Moaning softly as she saw the guard coming, with several others, she started edging away, until they saw her. She turned to run with a sigh, wondering why they cared so much about a simple necklace. She'd stolen more valuble things with more witnesses and gotten into less trouble. She stopped, sighing. "When did they get smart?..." she muttered, wondering if she had a better chance getting away if she went past the couple or going back over the wall. Hearing voices behind the wall, she sighed and hoped the two wouldn't stop her as she started to dart by them, trying to stay away from people in general who thought helping guards was a good thing.

Tsukarei stopped as she started to pass. "Hi there." He looked at the necklace. He took if from her and pocketed it. He watched the guards come toward him. "No trouble here. I'll deal with her myself. I'm sure she'll learn her lesson about stealing." The way he looked at the guards was different from the smile he gave her when they were gone. "Well, well. This is a fancy looking necklace. What do you need it for?" Isasha huffed as he got the guards off the theif. She was about to walk off but he picked her up putting her over his shoulder and let her kick until she calmed down. He put her down and she huffed again. "Well, answer him." She looked at the girl and though she was very pretty.

"To give them a reason to chase me around the city." she said, her voice dripping sarcasm. She smirked as he picked the other girl up not bothering to hide it from him, though the girl couldn't see. "And what, might I ask, would that lesson be which you told them you'd teach me?" she asked, her eyes daring him to do something.

Tsukarei had seen the smirk when he picked up Isasha. He looked back at the girl after putting Isasha down but keeping his grip on her. "Why do you need to steal? I mean, this could feed someone for a long time. Why not try working or maybe even asking? I'm sure my friend here would be happy to help you. If money is what you need then I can give you the money if Miss Brat won't give it to you. Oh and the lesson is that you shouldn't steal things that don't belong to you. You never know what you're stealing from who." Isasha watched as he spoke to the girl. "I don't mind giving away money for your information and I'm not a brat! You're so mean." She blushed a bit and got quiet when he kissed her forehead. She folded her arms and turned away. "You don't have to steal. There may only be a few of us out there, but there are a few people who would help you. What do you need?"

"Why do they always say stop?..." she muttered under her breath. "I've been stealing ever since I was little and kicked out of whatever house had taken care of me. There's nowhere I could work, I've tried. Wait, asking? For what? Please Ma'am, can i have you jewlery so I can sell it and eat?" Once again her tone was sarcastic, disbelief evident on her face. "You all say the same thing, stop thieving, we'll help. So far, no one has and they've all offered to, especialy if I manage to get caught. No one wants to spoil their name by helping a thief, no matter what you say. You can't say something is wrong whe you've never had to live that way, where the only way you can eat is if you steal something." she spat, now annoyed.

Isasha became offended by this. She knew where she normally bought her jewelry. She took the necklace from Tsukarei and stormed off. She took off her earring, necklace, and bracelets. She went into the store storming to the front of the line, not caring who was there. "This is pure dimand. This is pure gold with real jewels in it. My bracelets are silver and gold. What can you give me for all of this?" The owner could tell she was upset so he didn't take the time to check for the value completely. He examined it just to see. He saw she was getting impatient and he finally gave her the amount it's worth. "Are you sure this is all it's worth?" Her impatience fading into helpless sorrow at the price of it all. It would be enough to get the girl a nice house and good meals. The jeweler nodded. "I'll be back soon. I have more jewelry to sell." She left the store. She walked gracefully back to the girl handing her the money. There were bystanders looking around as Lady Hitsuna was giving the theif money. "Now, who does this necklace belong to?" She still had a bit of dusgust in her voice at the girl's commit. There were whispers going around about her and she didn't care. She was different than her royal sibblings. This also wasn't the first time that anyone assumed that she was like everyone else. Tsukarei knew that last thing would break Isasha. He felt his grip fall from over her. He folded his arms and looked at the ground. He'd only seen her do this twice. He winced a bit as he saw her move through people as if they weren't there. He had watched her take off her jewelry and watched her take the necklace from him. He covered his forehead softly. She had a way of changing from sweet and innocent to mad as heck. He didn't mind the change at all. It was just that she became determined, and afterward, she apologized to everyone she offended even if she had to follow them down. He could never understand her reasoning. He sighed as she came back looking like her innocent self again. He looked at the big stack of money in her hand. He blinked twice to make sure he wasn't seeing things. He watched her hand the girl the money in disgust and then ask who the necklace belonged to. He wanted to disappear at that money. He was getting hungry and he could use that as an excuse, but she'd only see through it.

"What?" she asked, hesitantly taking it. "The necklace? It was from a vender in the market..." she said, confused. When she left again Saro turned to him. "Can you meet me somewhere later and give her things back to her? It's one thing taking things, this is another. I'll get them back, but I know she won't take them from me." she said, her voice low enough that only he could hear, her eyes pleading, and hating the charity.
