Scraping the heels of his worn-out black offbrand shoes off the cement sidewalk, he strolled along, basking in the light of a mid-Summer's sun. Cd-Player in hand, headphones around his neck, Disturbed's Deify blaring. Wearing a pair of black cargo pants, the knees slightly worn, bottoms torn to shreds from being walked on. Supporting the over-sized pants was a black leather belt, a few metal studs circling, most missing. Wearing an ordinary grey shirt, an arrowhead necklace draping down over the collar. Long, dark brown hair, blowing in his face from the warm breeze, concealing his also dark brown eyes. He was about five and a half feet tall, looking to be of an average one-hundred and sixty pounds. Yes, there he was, Joshua Ferring.
Soon becoming irritated, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a dark blue hair tie, pulling his hair up into a messy pony tail before he continued on, not knowing where he was going, yet also not caring. As long as he had his music to drown out sound, he never cared. The sidewalk was bustling with all sorts of people. Such was life, living in New York. A hell of a City, with a hell of alot of people. Josh tended to stay away from everyone as much as he could, not enjoying attention. He was anti-social, not making friends too easily either. Though the few friends he did have, he got along with very well. Josh let out a quiet sigh as he continued on, wandering through the crowds.

Right..left..right.. ehh.. one two three four. Yawning as the breeze hit his face he coughed slightly gasping for air in a melodramatic attempt for attention and pointing fingers.Ew..think I swallowed a bug. He spoke aloud and coughed quietly as he continued, nonchalantly against the mass of people walking the streets of downtown New York. Grinning at every young girl he slowly made his way toward..wherever it so happened that he was going.
His light brown hair caught the glinting sun off the high-rise buildings and shone slightly before he walked into the bleak shadow of a building. His hair pulls into a loose band, yet it was rather useless as strands flitted infront of his eyes. Standing above the crowd he stood a lanky six feet, emerald optics. Wearing faded blue jeans and a bright, neon green collared t-shirt he didn't fit into this crowd of suits. He didn't mind, he liked the attention he got from being odd.
His eyes wandered into the sky as he yawned and closed his eyes for abit longer than a standard blink, only opening them to find he was still in the overpopulated downtown streets of NYC. A low grumble emited from his throat as he spotted some guy with a cd player. Let's have some fun, shall we?
He flashes a smirk and stared the boy down, wondering when the kid would notice the stranger staring at him.

Josh payed no attention to the gaze of the stranger, passing him by and moving along, doing nothing more than listen to his music. Yawning a bit, he took a left, down a shaded alleyway, in which the other end lead to a less-populated sidewalk.
Without dealing with the hassle of dodging people left and right, he walked a little slower, still dragging his heels. Attempting to cross the street, a car comes to a screeching halt, the driver bashing in his horn and cursing Josh out. He laughed, taking his time as he continued walking.

A pair of bright sapphire blue eyes watched as a throng of people painted a lively scene before it's owner. It had not been long since her arrival to this city, but the people here had proved to be very fickle. Every one seemed to be in such a rush to get to places that they would later regret showing up to. School and work for instance. Later, she would hear nothing but mutrers and complaints as they made their way pass her to head towards their comfortable beds.
Swinging her legs to and fro from the ledge in which she often perched, the girl found her attention fixed on a pair of what seemed to be adolecent girls. 'They shouldn't be dressed like that. Wh --' Stopping mid-sentence, the girl's eyes shifted over to the souce of a loud irritable screech. A clumsy red-head had managed to trip over a misplaced soda can and pushed both herself and her steaming hot coffee into the back of a tall buisness man. 'Oh no... Poor thing...' Slipping from her ledge, the clean white soles of the girl's shoes met the cement.
After walking some, the girl winced as a driver stopped his car in the middle of the street to cuss out a male who looked to be her age, all she could do was shake her head. Why did it have to be so noisey here in New York!? Why couldn't they choose somewhere else to stay at? Somewhere more quiet? This was New York City for the Muses' sake! One of the more populated cities America! The world even! Forgetting to watch where she was walking~ The girl crashed into something... Or someone. 'Oww.'

Whistling slightly and looked toward the way the boy had walked, begining to follow him, down the dark alley way and out the other side to see him run infront of the car of which had so courtesly stopped for this kid. The foul language fled into his ears like fingernails on a chalkboard and he continued his slight stalking of his..''prey''..or so he liked to call his daily entertainment.
Making his way through the crowd he crossed the street quickly and searched for a moment to find the kid. Sighing he scrathes his head and adjusted the bass hanging on his back. (HAH I FORGOT ABOUT IT xD) Leaning against a building he opened his mouth into a loud, over dramatized yawn and whiped his eyes of the bright reflections from the sun off the building.
Pulling out a phone he checked the time..only 11:27am..still half a day or so to go until he could get back to his appartment..What a drag. He picked himself up off the wall and looked around anxiously..hunger struck into his body and he groaned patheticly. Half a dozen donut shops and no food, go figure, how was someone suppose to live in a place like this?
Strolling down the sidewalk he crossed the courtyard of some shopping center into another alley then turned around and looked around with a look of puzzlement. Sighing he walked back the way he came and sat down quietly..waiting for something to happen. The music from the vehicles poured and he lost himself in the caidance, not speaking a word he held his head in his hands and groaned from hunger again.
I should have just stayed back in Cali. His head lifted and he looked around before standing again, putting the playful mask back into place on his face he began searching for something, not entirely expecting to find anything or rather..figuring out what exactly it was he was searching for.
He lifted his nose to the air as he caught the scent of food. Oh hell, chow time ladies and gentlemen. Pushing through the crowd he searched for the source, catching glimpse of the kid he was following earlier he made note of which way he was heading and ran towards the stand where he nonchalantly swiped a hotdog and continued walking.
Feeling a slight bump he looked down at the hotdog on the ground and sighed in a defeated tone. Grimacing he looked toward the girl, a grin quickly making it's way back to his lips. Opening his mouth to adress the girl who had so gracefully found her way to run into him. Ei there chica. You alright? That was quite the run in you had with me.

Rather than moving her eyes up and past his blinding green shirt, the girl's eyes fell on to the hotdog he had dropped. 'It serves you right~' She mused as a small, detectable grin made it's way to the edge of her lips. This run-in would give her something to do for atleast couple of minutes.
Closing her eyes as the stranger spoke, the girl nodded. She would be fine, eventually. 'Let's see... Where did I put that pad...' Rumaging through the her minature-sized tote bag, the girl of blue optics produced a cell phone. 'I guess this will do...'
IM OK SRY I RAN INTO U
After punching in the correct letters, the girl held out her phone. Normally, she would hold it up to the person's/persons' face but this guy was too tall for her comfort. 'He's probably a good foot taller than me...'
