W h o m p i n g W i l l o w DANGER Location GroundsInformationThe Whomping Willow is a very old, vicious, and valuable tree that was planted the same year Remus Lupin came to Hogwarts.
The tree was planted to the south of the castle and hides the secret passageway that led from Hogwarts to the Shrieking Shack.
There is a certain knot on the tree that will temperarily immobilize the tree, allowing someone to slip into the secret passage.
AreaA large, willow tree lies upon a hill.
Knuckle-like branches portrude like claws, whilst dainty leaves whistle in the wind.
Stringy vines fall down like angel hair, covering the brown, gnarly bark.
If you look closely enough, you might be able to see a smirk drawn across the wood.
But do you dare come any closer?

At a safe distance, Shinwa observed the Willow through wizarding binoculars.
Whizzing past every branch, she spied one, unlucky crow and a few white feathers.
"Kii hasn't been here either," she said, worriedly, "I wonder what happened to her?"

Aly had heard about the tree but had never seen it anywhere else in the wizarding world. She called after Professor Shinwa,"Please Professor,Is this the only tree of its kind?"

Tatsuko swayed across the Hogwarts grounds, towards the Whomping Willow. She had just finished her quest, of gathering seeds from the greenhouses, and was now on her way to the next conquest: Getting seeds from the Whomping Willow.

She stepped within the range of the branches, and the tree stilled. She continued forward, almost five feet away from the trunk, when she heard a whistling sound behind her. She turned around, and grabbed a branch, mere inches away from her face. With an expression of iron, she tightened her grip till her claws pierced the branch. She directed demonic magic into the tree, and smirked when it seemed to fear her. She spoke, her voice demoniacally magnified. "Yes, that's right. You almost attacked a Kitsune, and the Heir to the Kitsunes at that." The tree branch trembled beneath her claws, and she tilted her head to the side. "You ask for forgiveness? Most would not give it. But I am merciful. Give me your seeds, so that I may add them to my arsenal. It is rather large at the moment, seeds from the Lamp Weeds, such useful things, Okunenju Roots, and all the other plants that are grown in the greenhouse. I desire your seeds now." The Whomping Willow seemed to calm, before channeling her power into the making of seeds. A reddish-orange flower bloomed in front of her eyes, and she caught the seeds as they fell from the plant. She smirked before adding them to her collection. Her voice now normal, she bowed to the plant, and thanked it, before walking back to the castle.

*since it was a small piece he strung it and wore it as a necklace.*
