The Lake The lake lays to the south of the castle that overlooks it from the top of a cliff.
The lake reaches under the cliff where a cove is hidden by a curtain of ivy. This is where the First years go to enter the castle for their first time. Students come and relax on the shore of the lake or take a swim. There are a number of creatures that reside within the lake. Some of them are: Grindylows (which you should watch out for), deep in the center of the lake live the Merpeople, and the Giant Squid which can sometimes be seen and isn't usually aggressive toward wizards. Crew Members: Feel free to edit and update this thread.

Maranda walked out of the castle and came to the edge of the hill and looked out into the lake.She sat and dangled her feet off the edge and thought to herself.It's weird...how there aren't man people out and about...I mean the homework wasn't that hard was it?

[ Proffessor Shinwa walked across the shores of the lake. Her leather boots left behind a trail of muddy footsteps, stretching all the way back to the Care for Magical Creatures building. Gusty winds caused her to sneeze, and the wafting scent of lake water tingled in her nose. ]

goes over to the lake and thinks 'it's such a pretty day'. i sit on the ground and throw my shoes backwords and wade through the warm water. 'feels good' a fish nibles at my foot so i decide to get back out. i waive my wand at my feet and suddenly i'm dry and my shoes are back on properly. 'another day i guess'

A peregrine dives towards the water, then emerges upwards with a flailing fish dangling helplessly in its talons.
It lands at a nearby tree and feeds on its kill.
"The fish are getting sweeter in taste," the falcon states, "perhaps the Merepeople are happy at this time of month..."

Few minutes later, still buzzing
She raises her wand and screams "Silencio"

"Hey," he said, "You'd taste great sauteed or fried. Maybe that's why they're keeping you here."

Maranda walked onto the ground and by the lake.She just came from the library.Maranda sat under a tree and took her bag off.She laid back and stared at the leaves.Can't wait till it's winter....then I can lay in the slow,Maranda though.She loved being cold and never really enjoyed bright days.

Aly sat leaning against a tree with her book and a bag of Chocolate Frogs and apples. She also brought bread for thte Giant Squid. Noticing her friend Young Jae she called,"Young Jae! Come over here. I have some chocolate if you want some." Aly liked Young Jae and the way he stood up to the professors. She wanted him to be her first friend,but she wondered if he would accept her "bookworm attitude". Most people hated her for it and so far she had no friends exept her owl,Merlin.

proffesor breanna lays down on the grass and thinks of a a certain person and she just smiles. i wish he would notice me she thinks. She raises her wand in the air and red steam comes out and she just draws in the air, random things.

"It's ok, really. i have a bit of the same problem but its the opposite of yours. I don't seem to have any friends who are teachers, being the younger one and well of course one in particuler...i wish he...well uh it's gonna be fine." She softley says.
