In 23950 The human race had finally accomplished the one act they had wanted to complete since the first time man had first stepped foot on the moon; to colonize all the planets in universe. They came across many different races of people as they crossed the cosmos such as the Eldar which seemed to be an alian race that mirror the Elves of human legand and their shadow race the Dark Eldar, the Tau Empire which seemed to be a race of androids and their evil side the Necrons.
THe humans had created an army to face these races known as the Imperial Guard, specially trained to take on these threats to what they wanted to achieve. After he total genocide of those races the humans had gained total supremicy of the cosmos...or so they thought.
One year after taking over the universe two new races started to appear taking over planets that the Imperial Guard had taken and claimed them as their own. These two races were known as the Tyranids, a race of what seems to be half reptile half insect beings that seem to only be fueled by the need to survive, and the Orks, A race of ugly beings only known for their raw power and lack of intellegance. Both races were far too powerfull for the Imperial Guard to handle. They lost too many soldiers and too many colonies. Something had to be done.
It took five years but the Human Race finally developed a weapon to fight the Orks and Tyranids...The Space Marines. Genetically enhanced, The Space Marines have been engineered to be able to combat teh Orks raw power and the Tyranids speed and stealth. Each Space Marine was created to be the perfect warrior, but they had not been able to predict the out come of their exparements. That was then the Chaos Space Marines were born.
It's now the year 24000 and the universe is at war. Planet Earth is the only planet that is mainly inhabited by Humans and it's other natural existing species. Space Stations have been launched to act as strongholds throughout the vast empty cosmos. This is the human race's final chance. The SPace Marines must protect earth from the invasions of the Chaos, Orks and Tyranids.

A squad not known for a single one thing, but for their balanced abilities at war
Chainsword, Bolter Rifle, Plasma pistal, and flamethrowers.

A squad known for their Great power and overwhelming firepower

Powersword, Powerfists, RPG Launchers, Plasma Rifles, Backmounted flamethtowers, Backmounted Railguns and Terminator Armoured Artillery Suits.

With one hand he pulled his chainsword out of what he thought was the head of a Tyranid beast and his powerfist out of the body of another. It was another victory for the Fabel's Space Wolfs. "How many beast have we exterminated?" Fabel asked as he swung with his chainsword and powerfist at the ground to get the green blood of teh Tyranids off of them.
"We have a count of 234 killed sir," one of his cadets had spoken up, "We're still looking if there are any Tyranid remains in the fields."
"Excellent work Cadet," he said as he saluted and moved on to get his barings after the hour long battle. "Medic! What's our casualty percent?"
"0.01% casualty rate sir," the squads medical examiner said casually as he wipped a small bit of blood from one of the other cadets, "The only major damage that they did was this small cut here."
This was great news to Fabel's ears, the team was getting better at working with each other.

Adrina threw her rifle down on her bed and flopped down beside it. She sighed, a long days work. She had made 97 kills, and her team had made 322. She was satisfyed which was a rarety in her life. She rolled off her bed and made her way to the cafeteria for some late night grub and maybe someone to play some cards with. When she got there it was farely empty only one soldier sitting in the far corner was there. She grabbed a power drink and sat close to a window. She took out a deck of cards and began shuffling them mindlessly.

Bzzz....Fabel Wolff and his Space Marine Squad are returning to base, the SPace Wolfs are now back to base....Bzzz
Fabel had always hated the intercom at the base, it always ruined his grand entrance. All of his men had marched out of their carrier craft and stood in line facing him. "Wolfs, you are dismissed, at ease soldiers." he gave a solid salute adn his Squad returned thte respect. They all disperst their own ways and went which ever way they chose. All Fabel knew was that he was starving after a successful mission.
Entering the Bases cafeteria, he gazed around and didn't notice anyone right away. Stepping deeper into the room a smile crossed his face as he recognized a fellow commander. "Adrina of The Imperial Fist," he started to say as he aproached her table, "I hear that on your last mission you and your squad took out over 300 Orks."

She was startled out of her daze, "Oh yes that is correct." she said putting her cards into a neat pile, "You just got back correct?" she asked trying to make small talk. She wasn't the greatest at it. All she knew was how to gamble, kill orcs and get men in bed with her. She began flipping through the cards quickly as a mindless habbit. She looked up and down Fable, his choice of armour was much more realistic than Adrina's, she wore nothing but shorts a tiny shirt a scarf and her holsters. She found it better to run around in and made her much quicker than her enimies. But she thought Fables was pretty realistic and looked roomy enough to move around in with ease. Adrina always examined people, it was a habbit of battle, to always anaylise she was told by her mentors.

"Yeah, me and my squad had to go to Mars and take out a Hive of Tyranids before they got here," Fabel watched as Adrina looked up him up and down, and then as she shuffled the cards she had in her hands. "I always did want to know how one of the Imperial Fist top ranking officers handled the battle field with so much," he stopped for a moment as if the word had escaped him. he sat down across from her and continued, "So much pointless fire power and ranged attacks when it's so much more fun to rip your enemies jaw off with your own hand."

She smiled and laughed, "The feeling of holding that gun in your hands, every bullet represents a person or monsters life that your going to destroy, its a thrill. I believe it's the same for you, the thrill of going into battle head on. Lower chance of survival though isn't it?" She smiled with a cocky but sweet attitude. She began dealing out cards for a quick game of good old fasion texus hold em', she just assumed he knew how to play.

Just as he was about to pick up the cards he was dealt, Fabel looked up at the intercom and gave it a sneer almost wolf like. "Just as we think we'll have a little fun," It wasn't clear of what the emperor might have wanted with teh Champions, but it was never like any of them to turn down a challenge. "Would you like to join me?"

She shrugged "Easy come easy go." she said standing, "Dont mind if I do." Adrina walked side by side with Fable, they even got some looks on the way. Most people knew of Adrina's reputation and probably suspected she was up to no good. They entered the Imperium a few others had already arrived, more looks came their way. What just because I've been around the block you assume the worst. She thought glarring the whole time.

He had noticed some of the looks from the other champions, Fabel had wondered about what the looks were about, but he'd have to investigate later.
In the Imperium there was a large throne in which the The Emperor stood and started to make his orders, "Welcome my Champions, we currently have a major breach in our defences. About 30 minutes ago, an Black Templar Scouting Squad were searching the area of one of our bases on Mars and the last transmission we recieved from that area is asking for help from here because they were getting over run." he stopped and looked over the faces of the Champions and continued, "We have no information on who is attacking the Ultramarines up there, but we have a feeling that it's not something to over look. You all will leave ASAP, work in groups of two or three, I don't wnat anyone to be a hero this time around. Dismissed."
It was an odd thing that the Emperor could be worried about, it was actually pretty much rare for the Emperor to be worried at all so it was nothing to under estimate. He looked over at Adrina and smiled, I don't like many of the other Champions and it's rare that I get to work with The Imperial Fist," it was obvious where he was going with this but he continued anyways, "Let's team up for this one, that way I can see what's so great about heavy firepower."
