First let me say "It would be awsome if this were subforumed or even stickyed"

Now I intend for this to be a hang out thread for us werewolf kin to talk about stuff that is more specific to us as werewolfkin. I expect that the topic will change almost constantly and that is okay as long as it stays true to the thread name.

Let me start the first topic.

How do you react to the full moon?


Personaly my energy (psychic) almost triples, I feel an erge to be outside, I feel my chacra take on the shape of a werewolf (aka phantom shift), my eyesight, hearing and smell increase, and my hair and fingernails grow faster.

...Even though I don't actually count as a wolf, being the fact that I'm still figuring it all out, I think I should say, this is not really the best of ideas.

It's great to talk to people of your own theriotype, but you can gain a lot from others. Kicking them out of the thread simply because they are not wolves seems, in a convoluted way, prejudice.

But I'm just a girl who barely ever posts here and doesn't know what she is...

while agreeing with Kii and Roufette, (and not being of the canine family, instead of the feline line), i wonder if there are enough wolves on the forum to make this thread work o_o; i mean, i could see this being okay in other guilds where things move so quickly and there's like millions of 'kin everywhere, but here, things move slow and everyone gets along (sorta).

also, regardless of psychological effects, the moon's effects has been documented as a universal occurance, not just 'kin. scientists claim it's because of the gravitational pull of the moon, lightens (only slightly) the earth's pull on our bodies, and in a sense, lets us use less energy to do daily things. because we're used to using certain amounts of energy each day, the lightened load make us jumpy and active for apparently "no reason".

that's the scienific theory anyway. i'd like to add that the moon doesn't affect my 'kin-ness at all. i rarely notice the moon's cycle apart from the fact it's lovely to sit on my yard and watch.

also, out of curiosity, as i'm always full of that stuff, do you mean werewolfkin as in people who are/were wolfshifters (previous life or now)? or people who are/were wolves "inside"?

My original intent was for the 'wolfshifters' as you called them, but I would not turn away a wolf.

I like it best when there's no visible moon at all. Only then can I actually see the stars well hear in the city.

If you do get kidnapped that will give me a reason to travle, a reason to hunt people, and a reason to fight with the intent to kill the people who kidnapped a member of my pack. All in all, as long as you are unharmed it sounds like a lot of fun.

When the moon is high in her sky, I sleep peacefully under the silver streams of light. The sun is much more user friendly for me, and her power bestows upon me three times the energy of the placid moon. So, when the glorious sun lowers from the sky and brings on the inky night, so do I, ready to begin again tomorrow. (And, this way, the sunscreen manufacturers will never go out of business!)
