Yo, Ryoko here! Seeing as this year will be my last year attending Anime Weekend Atlanta (which is in September) before I go off to college, I've decided I want to go out with a bang and do a big, crazy, awesome cosplay of Fay. The costume I plan on making is the one Fay's wearing in chapters 136 and onward. Here are some pics for those of you who don't know what outfit I'm talking about:

Of course, I'm still quite the novice at making costumes...I know I can easily get the belts, pants, shoes/boots, and can just as easily make the eyepatch, collar, and staff-weapon-dohicky, but I can immediately tell that the coat will definitly take some time. I love making things myself, but...let's put it this way: I can sew by hand pretty well, but I've never used a sewing machine before. And I don't believe my dad'll be very keen on helping me much. Y'see my dilemma? sweatdrop

So...does anyone have some advice and/or patterns? I would really appreciate the help, and would be indebted to you forever.

I don't know much either but the design doesn't look that confusing... just like a loose button up shirt that's REALLY long. (I'm not helping -_-;; )
