Reason i say that is because we are losing some lineman and running backs, and also some WR.

I hope to see Alabama return to some of its glory. I have a strange weakness for the Tide.
I have thought that Tim Tebow is amazing since seeing him in the Army game his senior year of high school, but he needs someone to pass to and rushers to balance the offense and a line to protect him, and a defense to keep opponents off the board. I predict Florida as not being able to weather its losses as well as it'd like to.
I don't think the Utes can handle UCLA and Oregon State. Both are vastly improved and should show more consistency.
I hypothesize that Ezra Butler will "beat on" (his name used to be "Butler-Beaton") his WAC opponents, and Alex Rosenblum, rehabbed from a ligament tear, will tear up the field on returns. If only! biggrin
I see USC as unable to satisfy the hopes of its 10 tailbacks, straight up. This should be Hershel Dennis' breakout year finally but he will be challenged and so there will definitely be a tandem of role-players, as what happened with Reggie Bush-Lendale White, only with more options; after all, Emmanuel Moody and CJ Gable proved themselves when they're at 100 percent, and Stafon Johnson and Allen Bradford won't blow their chances. Not to mention Joe McKnight, who will assuredly be the playmaker he's touted to become by 2008. I think Stanley Havili will figure in big at fullback, a la David Kirtman, with Jody Adewale not regretting his decision to take back his scholarship. Sam Baker and Drew Radovich provide consistency on the offensive line, and I think Butch Lewis and Alatini Malu will step up and help them dominate, open holes, and give John David Booty plenty of opportunities to earn himself the Heisman. Patrick Turner might just be overshadowed by the surehanded and quick Travon Patterson and Vidal Hazelton. And then there's some guy named Ronald Johnson? wink On defense, the young-yet-experienced line, led by Brian Cushing and Rey Maualuga--with significant contributions from Kaluka Maiava and incoming Chris Galippo--has a chance to prove itself worthy of the moniker Wild Bunch III. Terrell Thomas and Taylor Mays will continue to shine on the secondary, despite off-season surgery, and break interception records. David Buehler has big shoes to fill, but he's the one who kicked the 49-footer. Will Collins is supposedly the snapper now, but something tells me that Michael McDonald will at least finish his career at 3-3 with 3 TDs, or maybe 4-4 with 4 TDs. wink True, there's no more Ben Malcolmson "Rudy" factor to hype up special teams, but I doubt there will be any touchdown returns, not this year.
And break.

I hope that Texas can come back from last year and win it all again.
