Once Upon a Time...There was a far off kingdom called Gotham, where all sorts of creatures roamed the dark shadows and many princes and princesses lived. The richest and easiest Prince to score with was a reasonably young Prince named Bruce Wayne. What no one knew about Prince Bruce was that he was also actually an honest paladin who fought for justice and all that is righteous under the darkness with the creatures, under the guise of the greatest creatures of all...A Bat.Elsewhere, away from the great 'castle' that the prince and his companions lived in, there was a tall tower, a clock tower, riddled with broken parts and gears and full of little things like moths and raccoons. In this tower lived a young girl.... ((It's not what you think! It just sounds wrong so far...)) What Will Result of this Fairytale come true? Broken hearts or broken bones? Will there be a happy ending, or will all hell break loose and let forth the true twisted side of these make-beleive lands?

The clock tower had a very unstable build and foundation, so naturally, when it rained, water came in through the many, many holes in the walls and top. It often rusted the machinery and lead way for birds to come in and roost. At the bottom of this wrecked tower had formed a small lake, pond, whatever. In this pond were lily pads, why? Because the flora among the area was very active, 'kay? On one of these lily pads was a nice little chubby toad who croaked while it watched the young girl sitting across from it with her toes painted purple and dipping into the pond. She was humming and smiling at the toad, eyes alight with the little sunlight that filtered through the holes of the tower. "Oh, Gamma, what will I do?" Said Keira over-dramatically to her pet, putting her elbows on her knees and her chin on her palms.

Elsewhere in this Kingdom of Gotham the Prince of Gotham Prince Bruce was bored...so he called for his young squire young Grayson and beseeched him to go out into the market square and find somthing entertaining...Young Grayson nodded giving a bow and quickly left the castle.

((.............. rofl )) Seeing how for once in her life, Gamma was not helping, Keira set to do what she considered what she was best at. She stood p and began to tread through the pond, thanking herself for leaving her shoes somewhere on a higher level. She feet the cold water relax her and she opened her mouth, to let out a small but echoing song like a nightengale, and it was just as much of a mournful sound, like unicorns dying and bleeding in snow....

Young Grayson trudged along the path complaining to himslef about how much he hated running errands for the Prince when he heard the most unusal noise..his ears pricked...he could not decipher wether it was the music of a leer harp...or the mourning of dirge....he quickly stepped off the path trying find the source of the sound.

Barely taking a breath anymore, thankfully since the young girl had nothing better to do by night than sing she had spent enough time gaining quite a lung capacity, she began to wander up the stairs, slipping into her shoes and continuing her song while she went higher and higher...

Young Squire Grayson followed the song untill it lead him to the old clock tower....the song was ever stronger now and he wondered if somone...or somthing was trapped there..so he took it upon himself to scale the tower wall to find an entrance into the forbidden looking tower.

Smiling a little at her only real pride, Keira took her time with the steps, letting Gamma croak occassionally to make a sort of small rythym as she held him in her hand, petting him while she cleared her throat to hit one of the higher notes, cracking a window nearby. She took her steps in tune to the song until she reached the end of the flight, into a small opening that lead outside onto the front of the deteriorating clock.

Near the clock tower a rather plain looking lady in waiting.. Lady Gorden, and her Jester Quinzle were ambling aimlessly in good spirits...even though the princess whom they bothed duteifuly served, had commanded them to fetch her a handsome toad for her to kiss.
"Pray thee Quinzle is that not Prince Bruces young squire?" Lady Gorden beseached her companion.
"Me thinks it to be," Quinzle replyed and preformed a hand stand.
"shall we follow him an se what is a foot?" Lady gorden quired feeling rather adventursome for a lady in waiting, truth be told she would much rather like to be a squire training to be a knight.

Unaware of the small attraction she was causing and simply knowing that she loved to sing her heart out, Keira sat on the front of the clock, which was almost falling apart from the ravages of time, and hit a melodic note to let out more of the sorrowful and melancholy hopes of hers, Gamma croaked once and stayed quiet the rest of the time while the voice floated off from the tower top, into the setting light of the sun.

"Wait now my lady," Quinzle said haulting the distracted friend, "do not you hear it?" the jester pointed out and slapped her hand over the young lady in waiting mouth to slience her.
"I belive it to be-
"A frog!" Lady Gorden smiled pulling the jesters hand away and hardly dareing to move.
"quick this way," quinzle beamed and bounded through the tall weedes that sheltered the ground of the clock tower.
"I see, up there a young maid'n and her frog, my but they sing good, but she will never be able to hear our cries of implorment," the lady frowned and then turned a cheeky eye to her silly jester. "shall we climb up?"
"why not," Quinzle grinned and began to puller herself up by means of some ivy clinging to the old wall.
"I say hark ye...up there... may we parle with you?" Lady Gorden called feeling much warmth come to her face from the climb she was makeing.

The tune of the song had become softer and a good deal quieter by the time Keira heard a voice unlike her won. She clung close to Gamma from shock and got to her knees, scrambling to look over the side at the curious pair traveling upwards. She had always been proud of how strong the plants around the tower were, and now she had an actual reason to brag. She blinked, returning to her feet. "Yae, you are welcome here." She looked at Gamma, who looked at her with nervous glistening eyes. "What is it Gamma?" he croaked once, eyes sad.

Almost at the top Lady Gorden began to think how odd it was to find a person at the dilapidated clock tower, but she quickly pushed the thought aside for now and smiled as kindly up at the young mainen as she could from her postion.
"Parden my rather awkward entrance," she grunted hoisting herself up to the clocks weather worn face by means of the vines.
"I am lady Gorden and this is my compainion Quinzle the jester, might we have your name?"
"If ya don't mind so much," Quinzle said with an unside down smile for she was enjoying swinging upside down on the vines, because jesters enjoy nothing so much as play.

Keira looked at the two, well, mostly at Gordon and took her time to do waht she hated most, curtsie. Once she came back to stand straight, she smiled polietly, holding Gamma close as ever. "I am Keira, this--" she looked down at the toad in her bare arms"--Is Gamma, sir Gamma." she corrected herself, and he croaked in a frightened way that made her wonder about her visiters. "I must say, 'tis awkward to have company, perhaps that is why he seems shy."
