Dum da da dum!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
So if this guild is still alive... thoughts? Like? Dislike? And what the heck is a 'deathly hallow' anyway?
Every other part of the series has used the title of a place, object or person that is first introduced and features prominently in that book.
Deathly;
1. having the physical appearance of death; "a deathly pallor"
2. causing or capable of causing death
Hallow;
1. to make holy; sanctify; consecrate.
2. 'All Hallows' Eve', also known as Halloween or Hallowe'en.
The most obvious possibility is something to do with or on Halloween, since that date already has a very important part in the series, but that would be a bit of an aberration from the rest of the books; none of the titles have used dates or times before.
It doesn't seem likely to be a person, so a thing or a place...
There are also a number of churches in London with 'Hallows' or 'All-Hallows' in the name; is it possible that a part of the book could take place in one of them?
As for a thing... A 'deathly hallow' sounds rather like a dark sacrament- the first thing that comes to mind is some sort of spell or ritual. (Possibly the spell used to create horcruxes?)
