Zidane is good but he is a little bit naive. Fortunately, he is lucky enough for that not to get in the way of his happiness.

I didn't feel a kinship to this hero. He's my least favorite character next to Eiko. She can just rot. Zidane was extremely useful in battle though, I cannot deny that. The Theivery skill comes in handy.

i thought vivi shouldhave been the main character because his story is the main one throughout disc1, 2, an part of 3.

yet Zidane's and Vivi's story was mixed together and you find on the four disc

I still think Vivi should be main, but I can understand how both of their stories fuse in disc four. Their races are very alike, both don't know who they are, and both have life when their fellow genomes or mages don't.
