See the World Thought My Eyes
See the world through my eyes,
It's not a world that shines
It's not a world that's happy,
This world alone is mine.
See the world through my eyes,
The bloodiness and gore,
The little children praying,
Hoping for no more.
See the world through my eyes,
The hopelessness it brings,
You raised us to be innocent,
But we grew evil wings.
See the world through my eyes,
The tears slide down my face,
See what you have done to us,
On my fingertips, the blood I taste.

Disillusionment is hard, I agree. It's a good poem, though a bit repetative in the way every stanza begins with the same line.

I think that the poem is very good. And Wing I think that you are being a little too strict about this, but that is just my opinion. Well good poem. Keep posting more, please.
