So in his recent comment on his website said that he was going to be in a band again with a guitarist of sorts...let's see he also said that he was still going to continue to be solo artist so I assume that's after the band?
Anyways he said that he was going to L.A. I instantly thought : L.A.= Yoshiki?
So there's rumors that maybe he's joining the Sugizo- Gackt -Yoshiki alliance, since they did say taht they were annoncing two new member in the new year...so....I think it's wierd, but it just may be more awesome than those chuck norris jokes XD

If it were true... every fanboy/girl would die. I would- 3 of my favs (2 being my idols) together in one band. eek Though if it is true... my fear is that Gackt and Miyavi might conflict when it comes to grabbing attention.

After thinking it through, I don't think Gackt and Miyavi in a band together would be a good idea. Miyavi's attention grabbing antics could make Gackt jealous because he seems to have a need to be the center of attention. Plus, Yoshiki and Gackt are veterans. Even though Miyavi's hugely popular it's nowhere near the same level as those two.

I seriously cannot believe you guys,
first off I told you so, secondly Miyavi thinks of Gackt as an older brother, and you forgot one very important thing. They all JAPANESE!
Thirdly- They all love rock and they all have impacted rock in a huge way, they are all icons of their own sort, Yoshiki the God of jrock movement, Sugizo an amazing guitarist of legendary band Luna Sea, Gackt the voice that made Malice Mizer what it was and expanded the visual kei even more, and Miyavi, so much talent that he had to share it with the world.
Fourth point, I think that as Miyavi fans we're too damn opinionated, well you guys are at least, The truth is none of us have met Miyavi, we haven't spent a day with him , or laughed with him or gone shopping or anything. We don't know what he's like when he creating music or on stage with someone, that's only something he knows and his former bands have known, and his current band knows. Besides you guys have Gackt figured out all wrong, I'm actually ashamed of you guys when I hear Miyavi fans say that, because first of all I'm sure Miyavi would want all of his co-miyavi to respect his decisions and like all of the people that he likes.
So there.

If Miyavi would want us to like whoever he likes, that would be very unreasonable.
I don't see what's wrong with at least most of the comments here.
And saying so there? That comes across as rather childish.

hey kids, play nice please ^^
miyavi loves his fans, and i'm sure that as much as he wants us to like the people he likes, he also wants us to be our own selves and value our own opinions above his own. who would want mindless zombie fans? i like to believe that miyavi appreciates individuals.
and as much as we love, respect, and adore our idols, most of us can never really know them. so try to stay positive when thinking about them. i don't think either gackt or miyavi have a problem sharing a spotlight. ^^;

I thought I was?
It just seems Ghost was way more upset than necessary.
And I can't see why we can't have our opinions without being called too opinionated.
As you say, Miyavi wouldn't want mindless fans.

I was respecting Miyavi's decision. My opinion was based solely on stage performance between Meevers and Gackt-san. Off stage, Miyavi is a sweetheart and Gackt is laid back. From performance videos I've seen of the two (starting from Mizer/DLQ to now), I've just noticed certain trends with each's stage persona. Gackt needs to be the center of attention and all those around him dress and dance to compliment him and the theme for each live (basically, no one must outshine Gackt). Miyavi is also very attention grabbing- mostly by his movements, calls to the audience, and his need to scream.
When I saw footage of the S.K.I.N. concert of youtube, I was surprised. They did sound very good. Miyavi seemed like a toned down version of "miyabi" from his Due' le Quartz days (except for the moments of fanservice with Gackt and Jun-kun blaugh ).
Not once did I say that Miyavi's decision was wrong in anyway. Yoshiki does not decide something unless he is behind it 110%- he has a stellar eye for talent. There is also a reason behind every decision he makes. I just thought that Miyavi was a bit too "young" (career wise) to share the stage with three jrock legends. I thought that he needed to let his talent and popularity grow and evolve for a few more years before stepping onto the stage with three of Jrock's biggest icons- men who have helped shape the genre into what it is today.
Miyavi brings in a whole new generation of Jrock, a new style, and an entirely new fan base. One would want that to work to S.K.I.N.'s advantage (be able to reach a whole new group of fans, create an entirely new sound, etc) but it can also work against them. The old school fans may not like the new ones and vice versa- for example.
After seeing the live, my worries have been subsided, but I still stand firmly by my statement. I will still support the band and all their individual members (not so much Sugizo- haven't really gotten into Luna Sea that much sweatdrop ). Hell, I made a contact with a woman who helps to run their fansite, so I might be helping to promote the band.
