In front of the king or no."[/color] Which wasn't strictly true, there was a sliver of her that didn't want to anger the Prince's father more than neccessary. Good thing she wasn't around him often. [color=#b93528]"I don't know how nice the human is, he's a little wordy though."[/color] She glanced over to the man who she entered with, not surprised to see him surrounded by the rest of the humans. They liked to flock together right? The fact that more of his kind had entered was very surprising, or maybe not at all considering the circumstances. Rylen turned back to eye the Prince with a smirk, which quickly morphed into innocent surprise. [color=#b93528]"But your highness, I thought it may have been something of an emergency! How often does the Prophet summon us after we find strange people in our beds! I couldn't delay long enough to get proper attire!"[/color] Nor would she have dressed 'properly' even if asked. Next Talim asked about the human's violent tendencies, which brought her gaze to his bloody teeth. [color=#b93528]"No, but I did kick him out of bed and try to smother him with a pillow. He didn't have much of a chance."[/color] Then her prince got this lovely shocked look as Emrakul entered the room. Alright she was pretty sure Emmie didn't cause that look on the prince's face, but the idea that he might have did amuse her. It was most likely the female at the General's side. Cute. Maybe he was familiar with her. Before she could say much more, or throw something at Emmie's head, the Prophet began his thing. Rylen stepped back as his tattoos lit up, something she would love to be able to do herself. But the room went silent as he spoke, approaching each human in turn. So these would be the people to save their kingdom, strangers from another land. Sky People popped into her head, but nothing about them suggested the sky. They were human, not a hint of power to be found on them. But she didn't interrupt, instead she crossed her arms and watched. She could let her doubts on the matter be heard later. Soon after the pairings were announced and the old man escaped while they were all too caught up in the show to say anything. Sneaky b*****d. One of the human females broke the silence, declaring her intentions to take over the castle and the kingdom. A second later Rylen burst out laughing, nearly doubled over at the force of it. Even as Saaru proceeded to put the woman in her place, Rylen continued to laugh. A human, ruling the castle? She only stopped after her betrothed spoke, and took a couple of deep breaths to calm down. Rylen slapped Talim on the shoulder and leaned against him, not caring one bit if the man stepped away or not. [color=#b93528]"Well that was fun! We're all now married to [i]humans[/i] and apparently one is going to try to take over the castle. Emmie, brother mine, I wish you luck with that one."[/color] There was a heavy dollop of scorn and amusement in the word human. This had to be a mistake, humans? But maybe it would be fun, all she had to do was roll with it to see where it led. Rylen examined the humans, mostly though she looked at her betrothed. Her human. Yes that was more fitting. The Prophet had declared them an item, so that made him hers. She raised her voice so she could be heard. [color=#b93528]"Seems the old man has spoken, you'll save the kingdom which means I can't kill you. Regrettably. I'm not really sure how useful any of you can be. Maybe we just have to sacrifice you at some point."[/color] Each of the humans recieved a toothy grin from the woman, which she aimed at at the dark skinned man last. Rylen waved at her not at all human companions. [color=#b93528]"You think that's what the Gods want?
