Leilani Hamasaki ( Pronounced Lee'Lawn'e Ham'a'sac'key ) is a galaxy famous pop star and model. Considered a leading head of fashion, the Ganguro Queen of the Galaxy. She is a figurehead to youth everywhere. Famous for her her amazing voice and strange costumes. An eccentric personality in an even more eccentric body.

Personality
Leilani has a very outgoing personality. She isn't afraid to voice her opinion, and express her thoughts on matters. She is eccentric, in both her way of living and her style of dress. She loves to stand out, be noticed, and be considered different or strange. She is stubborn. She also has a tendency to flirt which plays into the fact that if she wants something she isn't afraid to take the first move to get it. She is however very humble, fame has not gone to her head. She's very intelligent and understanding of people and situations. Like all people though she can have a devious side.

Early Life
Leilani's Parents
Leilani was born 118 ABY (153), into a family of the upper levels of Coruscant, to an elite couple. Her family was very rich and highly cultured. Holding a position of favor in the eyes of the empire, and keeping them safe from harm. She was a baby destined to be born with “ a golden spoon in her mouth “
Her mother was Polarity Masukaki a very beautiful and very famous HoloNet actress, Polarity was raised in the spotlight and met the man who would be Leilani' father at an Opera performance, the two became close very quickly, the couple quickly becoming the issue of gossiping courtesans everywhere. Leilani's father was Lt. Gaiden Hamasaki a high ranking military official. He had served in the army for many years and was loyal to whomever he served, therefore he kept his powerful station even when Krayt took over the empire. Gaiden and Polarity had married at an older age, due to both having highly demanding careers. However when Polarity finished her performance in a traveling Opera she returned to Coruscant where she and Gaiden were promptly married in a small ceremony [117ABY]. For many of the other Senate elite their age was frowned upon being as they both were already ninying their 40th year of life, Gaiden his 45th , as it lowered the possibility of them having a child.
A year into their marriage Leilani was conceived, much to the surprise of the Hamasaki family and other elites. Gaiden and Polarity were ecstatic at the prospect of being parents, as even they had doubted their capability to have one. Preparations were made very quickly as the Hamasaki household readied themselves for their newest member. Twelve standard months later Polarity gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl that would grow up to be a Galaxy wide phenomenon, She was named Leilani.
Younger Years
Leilani was their first and only child, a beautiful healthy baby girl. As an only child she was spoiled profusely by her parents, extended family, household servants, and elite friends of her parents. Their was nothing Leilani did without, whatever she wanted was handed to her on a silver platter.
One thing Leilani enjoyed more then anything and did quite frequently was accompanying her parents to their work stations, which allowed her to discover her unique talent of understanding people. Gaiden would take her to Imperial bases and on missions to other worlds, the sweet little girl resolved many conflicts during her time with her fathers fraction, this traveling exposed her to many languages and species and with her immense intelligence she was able to pick up on things with relative ease. By the time Leilani was eleven she was capable of speaking most languages both common and uncommon. Polarity also contributed to her growth as a person, instilling values into the sweet little girl; teaching her the many aspects of the art, culture, and the advantages she had as a high ranking woman.
Though Leilani received a formal education by tutors almost all her knowledge was gained by being with her parents. Gaiden allowing her to learn about the cultures and lifestyles of the different species they visited on distant worlds. Her mother teaching her about cultural social standing, the whiles of the woman, and the world of theater. Most importantly Leilani's parents instilled a love of music and the arts in the young girl from the moment she was born. Her mother and father loved the arts as it was how they met, her mother being an actress. Leilani would spead a great deal of her time at her mothers performances. Learning the world of theater and stage work, the bright eyed child was a common sight at her mothers workplace.
Leilani, being an only child, thrived at being the center of peoples attention and so when accompanying her mother she would copy the woman. Receiving quite a bit of praise for her natural ability to preform, and mimic the older woman. Much to Leilani pleasure this gave her the attention she enjoyed so much, and so Leilani dedicated time into becoming like her mother. The true beginning of her rise to stardom.

Teenage Years

First Performances
When Leilani was twelve she took to the stage, hired on as an actress as a personal favor of the Galaxies Opera House curator to her mother. Leilani however far exceeded the expectations of the curator, and he continued to take her on as an actress for various roles. Leilani thrived on the stage, working hard so that she attained many of the lead roles and was able to stand out the most. She greatly enjoyed working at the opera house and was soon able to take over parts her mother had played, gathering much praise from house patrons. As she got older her ability increased drastically, as did her popularity, getting her a role in almost every play the opera put off. She became known Coruscant wide.
Oppertunity of a lifetime
On her fourteen birthday the Coruscant opera house announced they would be holding auditions for the roles of a special opera that would be attended by a group of very important guests on the opening night, that of the Emperor Krayt and his most trusted advisors, and so the play was to be perfect. As such they were looking for new talent to fill the roles and gave an open casting call. Auditions were held, and Leilani tried out, the lead role was not given to her. However when the open casting call came up for the supporting female actress Leilani again tried, this role calling for the character to stand alone on the stage and sing a fairly long piece, she completely dumbfounded the judges with her voice and her true talent was discovered.
The opera was a Nagai based opera, aptly titled the Opium serpent, and the show progressed without a hitch. Leilani though was the one to steal the show, as her voice silenced the entire crowd and received a standing ovation, even from the emperor. This would be the first time the Leilani would encounter Nihl, although somewhat indirectly, as the emperor came to praise her voice and Nihl was one of escorts. Nihl sent her a gift later that night, a rainbow colored Shimmersilk choker with three gold star charms, which she never went anywhere without wearing for the rest of her career.
Shortly after her performance at the opera Leilani was signed to a singing contract by a highly popular HoloNet persona, she released an album sometime later and began touring on the eve of her seventeenth birthday. Already on her way to becoming the most well known and popular celebrity galaxy wide.
Beginnings of a Star
Leilani toured for several years, and quickly became a rabid phenomenon that swept the galaxy to the farthest reaches. During which time she began an intimate realationship with Darth Nihl, one of the emperor Krayts " hands", the two keeping it as low key and secret as possible. She sustained her popularity because she was able to discover what was the next big then before anyone else, solidly cementing her as a major star. She did a great deal of work on HoloNet shows, and preformed on worlds the galaxy over. Her personality winning over many people. Her sense of vivid, bold, and outright outrangeous fashion appearing on young girls everywhere.
Nihl & Leilani
The very night Leilani turned nineteen she was to preform a concert on the outer rim world of Tatooine . This concert would the second time she would encouter Nihl, the two having not seen each other for five years, this meeting would mark the begining of their often tumultuous relationshop. Nihl was free to express his attraction to the girl now that she was of legal age, though he only persued her because she had kept the gift he'd sent her three years ago, after a very brief courtship the two began a highly secretive affair.

Coruscant Gala
Leilani was twenty-one when she returned to Coruscant. The emperor was to be hosting a large Gala to celebrate his ten years of reign, Leilani was expected to return and show support for the man as well as preform. A task that she all to easily complied to do. An older woman now Leilani was also considered a highly attractive woman to court, she had both looks and intelligence, as well her popularity and connection among so many people. This gave her quite an appeal to the emperor, who duly noted that Nihl seemed to be attracted to her, and that she had to return some of the feelings as she had kept the gift the Nagai had given her. He of course being unaware of the relationship they already had. Krayt gave Nihl his blessings and informed the sith lord that he should court the young woman, an order which Nihl was all to eager to follow. Much to Talons dismay and confusion, her partner was now allotted time to go an chase the tail of some young " fluff " of Coruscant upper crust.
Imperial Engagement
Leilani and Nihl had a rough time of pretending to court each other the first few months, not wanting to expose to Nihls enemies that the two were already close, Nihl was given as much time as he wanted to spend with the woman. However they still remained distanced from each other in the public eye to avoid attempts on the young pop stars life. However the emperor demanded shortly afterward that the two be engaged, and they agreed to do so. Which almost immediately gave the emperor a good light, as the “ princess “ of the people would never support something she did not believe in, and put the rebel groups into a frenzy. In an attempt to stop the emperor from becoming accepted by the people, a campaign was started by several rebel groups to make it appear that Nihl and Leilani’s relationship was a forced one and that the young starlet did not wish to be with the sith lord. When the campaign failed, as the media continued to give picture proof that the couple truly seemed to care for one another, an organization known as Black Sheep placed a large bounty on her head. When Leilani departed to do a performance on Kuat her ship was intercepted by Cade Skywalker and the Mynock crew, the group kiddnapping the starlet, they took her with them to Socorro and held her captive. Demanding a ransom from the empire.
Prisoner of Bounty Hunters

Leilani was a horrible captive for the first while and unlike most bounties she was required alive, which she used to her upmost advantage, she went through great lengths to cause as many problems as she possible could on board the Mynock. Spending a great deal of time arguing with Jariah and butting heads with Deliah, her ability to " read " people easily allowed her to cause a great deal of conflict between the Mynocks crew.
About a week into her " stay " Cade took pity on the young woman, as well as wanting her to stop causing so much conflict between his crew, and released her from her holding cell. Connecting them with technology akin to a slave chip; that was attached using a special band so her location could be tracked, Leilani was then free to roam around the Mynock as well as a short distance of the surrounding Socorro landscape. Given her freedom back to some extent the young star became much more settled and even befriended Jariah to some extent. Though her relationship with Cade became quite questionable very quickly, possibly transcending that of kidnaper and kidnaped into something more serious. Leilani's personality attracted the Blonde hunter to her, similar to the attraction Nihl had to the starlet when they first met, Cade was drawn to the fact that she did not judge and was willing to give him as much attention as he desired. The possibility of their relationship, as Jariah and Deliah could not prove that their captain had become intimate with Leilani, caused major conflict between Deliah and Leilani.
A short time into what would have been the second month of her kiddnapping the Mynock was stormed by Darth Nihl, Darth Maladi , and Darth Wyyrlok. The Sith group had come to retrieve Nihl's Fiancee and give Cade and his crew a message from the emperor, they severely injured the group of bounty hunters but Leilani intervened before they managed to kill any of Cades crew. The young woman managing to convince Darth Nihl she was fine and that the trio had learned their lesson from their beating. The Sith Group took Leilani and left.
Return to Coruscant
Upon Leilani' return to Coruscant Nihl became increasingly overprotective. The sith lord Forbidding the young pop star from preforming in shows, visiting fans, touring, and even going outside at times. Attempting to control her life so that she would not be kidnapped or taken from him again. This put a major gap in their relationship as Leilani felt smothered and restricted, refusing to let herself be treated like a piece of property.
The Holonet and rebel alliance had a field day with their quickly deteriorating relationship. Holonet reporters made massive media reports on the relationship that had quickly begun falling apart, the various rebels spreading rumors about Nihl' treatment of the lovely Leilani. This over " glamorized " coverage of their troubles put further strain on Leilani and Nihl's failing relationship. The empire was losing support of her massive fan base insanely quickly, and the recruitment numbers in rebel organizations were on the rise. Krayt, in an attempt to curb the downward spiral of support, ordered the feuding couple to be wed.
Leilani and Nihl' wedding was scheduled and arranged in a matter of weeks, much to the dismay of her fans, but Leilani' opinion on her fast approaching wedding was not heard as the young starlet hadn't been heard from in weeks. The media storm was still in full force.
Imperial Wedding
Two weeks after an extensive Holonet coverage of the soon to be wedding, covering all the wonders prepared by the empire for the " peoples princess " the dreaded date arrived. For the first time in weeks Leilani was to be seen, the wedding to be a massive affair of pomp and circumstance. Krayt overseeing the couples union. However unknown to her fans and even unknown to the emperor Nihl was unsure as to wither or not his bride would show as even he hadn't seen her in weeks. The media nicknamed it the " Wedding of the Century " and it was covered constantly by various Holonet persona, increasing the interest in the massive event. The wedding was to be preceded by a large Gala one of open invitation, much to the surprise of various rebel organizations, Krayt guaranteed that no violence would take place on part of the empire to anyone who attended that was a fan of the Leilani.
The night arrived and gala began without a hitch, the security tight but as promised no animosity between the empire and the rebels, much to the dismay of Talon and Krayt's other advisor's who attempted to push him into taking advantage of the ripe opportunity. Krayt still refused worried more about the loss of support if her were to do so strangely no major rebel leaders showed up to the gala, even though many of them were known to support Leilani.
Leilani's Plan
Krayt, Nihl, and the other sith could not have known that the wedding was to be the staging ground of a plan of Leilani' own, to gain back her freedom and fight for what she now saw as right. To take advantage of her title as the " people princess " and help the rebels topple the empire Krayt controlled. The last few weeks Leilani had secretly slipped away with Cade Skywalker, after the pirate had come to see her shortly after her return to the imperial capital. They had disappeared to Mon Calamari specifically the resort city of Crystal Reef, while there Cade and Leilani had become lovers.
When Leilani entered the throne room as expected she was not wearing the white dress she was supposed to be, but a black dress embroidered with rainbow shimmersilk and gold star accents. She declared herself to be a unworthy of such a " great man " and claimed to be nothing but rebel filth. At which point the lights of the great hall flickered and went out. Chaos broke out in the ensuing darkness, when power was restored the young starlet was nowhere to be found
