The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya = A masterpiece. - You might not like episode 1, but continue watching it. Definitely worth watching.

I saw part of the anime Air and I really liked it so maybe youd like it sweatdrop I wanna get the full series but no one on the island has it yet for sale

They just started playing Mar and Prince of Tennis over here, though you've probably already seen them. I think they're good, though.

If you don't mind gore (even though it is obviously fake-looking), try Elfen Lied.
