Christmas is more fun, but Halloween holds more meaning for me, since I'm not Christian. Don't get me wrong, Christ was a wonderful gift to all of humankind. His birthday is a big thing. All Hallow's Eve just means more to my faith.

To your faith? Halloween? huh? Well i'd say Chirstmas. Not to sound greedy, but I love presents and when family comes over. Some times I only get to see family once a year. Halloween is fun also, I'm a canyholic. And I love dressing up! I was a dead cheerleader last year! Hinata was a witch. She diyed her hair. LOL. good times. good times.

Yes. My faith is kind of a mish-mash of other faiths. Christ figures prominently in it, yes, but so do the other great prophets and a number of non-religious historical figures. But on All Hallow's Eve, the veil between this world and the next is thinnest, and one can communicate fairly freely with the recently departed. I consider it fairly sacred. It's a Pagan tradition, which Christians transmuted into a frivilous children's holiday in their attempt to stamp out Pagan worship. People would dress their children in ugly, ill-made costumes to make wandering spirits think they weren't worth kidnapping. Every short person in a costume got candy, in case it was a spirit that needed to be appeased.

That is an interesting story. Anyway I like Christmas. Halloween just isn't my thing. I like candy, but not as much as to get a bag full of it.

I'm too old to go trick-or-treating, anyway. 18-year-olds only get candy if they have someone younger than 5 with them.

For me it's Christmas, not so much a time to receive but a time to see, because I live literally 189,192.78 miles away from my family I see them 1-2 times a year. To me Halloween is Not really much more then a chance to scare the crap out of the younger kids in the neighborhood.
((Casiela, if you would have the time I would be deadly interested in any to all of your thoughts on all things religion, your previous posts have me curious beyond belief, ha I’m such a nerd))

I love Christmas for the gifts most honestly. So, I suppose I like it better than Halloween. The thing is Halloween you have an excuse to cosplay which I'd like to start doing. I could still get candy at 17 like many of my peers have but, I chose not to. This year I prefered just to take my little bro out. *End of ramble*
