Aw yeah! It's almost 2007!
Now that I think about it it, I don't know if it's so happy, for me at least. New Year's Eve is always so full of mixed emotions. I don't really want to go into a new year just yet; I feel like so much was left unfinished this year. I only have one thing to look forward to in 2007, which is April (the bringer of spring break, which is the time of the ultra-illegal ex-school trip to Cuba). But I guess I better suck it up, because time is bittersweet and it ain't stoppin' anytime soon.
So. Disregard my bleak post! Have a happy new year, everyone!

I'm going to New York City to visit some nice art museums with my school's art club in April, on the last day of school before spring break! That's something to look forward to, I say.

I love the Met! The Degas exhibit is gorgeous. And I forget where in the museum it is, but there's a room with little statues and one of them has a teacup for a crotch. xd
I haven't been to the new MoMA yet, but I heard it's awesome.

I haven't been to either yet. Ah, that reminds me of the time I went to see the Gates at Central Park, and I failed at trying to get my family to agree to go to MoMA...

I kinda miss the Gates. They were so...Orange and happy and stuff. Yeah. My brain is cloudy.

They were lovely, with all that orange fabric flowing in the wind. I wasn't into photography yet at that time, though...

Same. They'd be hard to photograph in black and white, though.

ZOMG my photo teacher just told us that he's going to submit some of our final prints to MoMA! *splodes*

Amazing! Could it be that that's what's going into their new section that's to be built?

I don't know. That would make me incredibly happy. But our work has to get through the curators and stuff first.

Of course.. I wonder if they'd be easily convinced by a financial incentive...
