Tell us what your favourite type of weapon in all the Realms is. Its okay if you favourite a famous weapon e.g. Aegis Fang, because a lot of us probably do the same.
My favourite weapons would probably be Scimitars mainly because of Drizzt and also the Bow and arrow, its always been a favourite of mine. biggrin

My favorite weapon is a katana. my favorite famous weapon is Blackrazor i think its called from Baldurs gate 2 shadows of amn.

I love using magic, i use my control water spell to manipulate the water into any weapon i please! But i also use an unique rapier that my DM named "The Azure rapier" which i have proficency on rapiers, wich makes it so much the better! My favourite weapon isn't from any forgotten realms, it would be a tie between Skorm's bow, and Wellow's warpick. And Maybe the sword of Aeons, but it's just a little too powerful for my tastes.

Personally, I prefer dual daggers, or a whip of fangs.. Maybe a flail. Depends on the mood.. My RP char uses animated, razop sharp chains that recede into her skin as tatoos. ^_^ Lots of fun to be had there!

Well even though it's probly not used in The Realms, I love the Falcata. Or a Spartans wepon as they're commonly refered to as. Someone with a doublt one of those would kick serious a**.
Those, or just fists and plain dissaplin ((sp!? gonk ))

My favorite weapon is the quarterstaff. It just looks so darn cool when you're twirlin' that thing around all kung fu-style.
And because Donatello is my favorite Ninja Turtle.

I love scimitars halfway because of Drizzt, I love his Icingdeath one XP , but I also love them because their cuts sort of weave and circle, its awesome^^ I also love daggers and the bow-and-arrows, but yeah scimitars are my fav.

Same, in NWN I have a lv 40 drow ranger, wields longswords, unfortunatly. Still I like him. He isn't really all that strong though... but still...

Lol, in RL, i spin fire (Poi staff) and my uncle is teaching me Jo staff. (Bo staffs get smaller at the ends, Jo staffs do not.)

I'm big on staff fighting too
I try studing martial arts, and where I do know how to use a sword, I would probually pick up a staff or cane (half-staff) each and every time sweatdrop
I'm a purely defencive fighter, much to the chagrin of my instructer, and the fact of fighting with a blade bothers me, because I know if I fight with a blade someone is just going to get hurt which is something I don't want (even of the other person attacked me first)
wit a blade even the smallest hit can cut and/or serously injer, with a blunt weapon like a staff it's far easyer to control how much damage you deal out
I acually collect canes too (for more then one reason) and I have one spasificlly designed for fighting biggrin
it's saposed to all but unbreakable, but I don't have to $90 to test that out...
that aside, when it comes to blades, I perfure something with a curved, single edged blade because I tend to rest my free hand on the back of the blade to help guide it, and as you could figure, having both edges sharpened would be alittle problematic gonk
so yeah, I would probually pick scimitars too, but I'ld acually lean further towards a falchion
most of my sword training has been on katanas ( sweatdrop ) so a b*****d Sword would be ok too

I do enjoy the heavy axes used by the Dwarves and I've always been a fan of a duel weilding fighting style. Charon Claw is pretty badass, but Artemis' dagger is just too cool. Jarlaxle has some pretty good weapons too, though, he is just one giant bag of tricks.
All and all I think that the greatest weapon is magic, cause it doesnt matter how strong or how good a swordsman, you will still die by magic no matter what.
This is ment to be a joke and a reference to a comic I read once, I dont remember what it was, which I found funny

Dr.Speth All and all I think that the greatest weapon is magic, cause it doesnt matter how strong or how good a swordsman, you will still die by magic no matter what. But if the is skilled and agile enough then they could dodge the magical attack and get in close to kill the wizard, sorcerer etc.
