Ekene was laying down lazily wishing the burning sun would go down. He could think of nothing else to do. He thought about sleeping but soon found out that he wasn't tired enough to sleep. "WHY can't there be something to do?!" he said out loud to the skies.

Toro crept through the grass, her haunches swaying as she stalked after a small mouse. It was barely even a snack, but it gave her something to do. Finally she pounced, claws unsheathed and fangs bared. Her claws sank into its back and she snatched it up into her jaws, her lips curling into a triumphant grin.
As she noticed Ekene's form in the distance, she stopped, ears perking. A lion, huh? She raised her brows and trotted forward, dropping the mouse as she halted a few feet away from him.
"Hello," she said, batting her eyelashes.

He looked up. He quickly stood up. "Uh...hi!" he said hoping he didn't sound like an idiot. His tail twitched and he tilted his large head in curiosity. "..My name's Ekene, what's yours?" he asked her.
