Web content editor - City of villains - ocr

The Web Content Editor will be responsible for the creation, editing and/or implementation of dynamic and compelling content for the City of Villains web site. This position will be part of the Online Community Relations (OCR) Team and will work closely with the Web, Sales/Marketing, Public Relations, and Development teams, generating written promotional, community, and game-related site content as needed.

Requirements

Impeccable communication skills a must, with experience in a broad range of writing styles ranging from technical documentation to creative writing, to marketing copywriting
Familiarity with the City of Heroes product (ability to exhibit game knowledge) and a passion for/understanding of the comic book genre
High level of initiative and self-starter mentality.
Ability to create extensive content plans as well as self-schedule, multi-task, and generate exceptional work under tight deadlines
Enthusiasm for online games and gamers
Working knowledge and understanding of basic HTML and web design sufficient to implement written and visual content within web templates
Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years experience in a creative writing field (copywriting, online writing)
Prior work experience in a fast-paced, creative environment generating and nurturing ideas into promotions, events, etc. (i.e. advertising agencies, entertainment/media, online media, etc.)

Topic: Pick one of the following 5 Signature Heroes from City of Heroes, and in 750 words or less (1 ? pages), describe him/her from a Villain's point-of-view.

Signature Heroes: Statesman, Sister Psyche, Synapse, Positron or Manticore.
