
L o c a t i o n s :
1. SmallWave Town.
-Smallwave Town is a little town by the southern shores of Kyuuten. A very peaceful town that is home to the laboratory of the famous Kyuuten Professor; Professor Eleanor Riley. Just a town this is and nothing to special.
2. Mongrove Town
-Mongrove Town is located on an island just a bit south of Smallwave Town. It is reached from a ferry from Pedigree City. To access this town from another way, you must have water or flying Pokemon to be able to take you here via sea or air. This town has one of the Kyuuten Gurus that reside here and also a pokemon museum where you can visit and learn about Kyuuten's pokemon and the region's history. This town is also the famous Ho-oh Monument where the old settlers of Kyuuten spotted Ho-Oh.
3. Valicity City
-The second largest city of Kyuuten, Valicity City is the home of another Regional guru that lives in the Pokemon mansion. Located on an island that is stationed very close to Mongrove Town, Valicity City has a spectacular view and it is one of Kyuuten's richest portions and glamerous vacation spots. Of course... north of Valicity Island, there's a faint view of the mysterious Kyuuten Forest. This is home to the most grand Pokemon competition in Kyuuten.
4. Broken Islands
-Home to many rock Pokemon, the Broken Islands are only accessed via sea and use of Water Pokemon or Flying. Located just south of Kyuuten Forest, it is impossible to jump from Broken Islands to reach Kyuuten's main island and Kyuuten Forest.
5. Kyuuten Forest
-A very mysterious forest in Kyuuten that holds some mysteries and rare Pokemon. A deep forest indeed that starts from the Firtie Mountains and extends south of Kyuuten. Trainer's get lost here and it takes them double the time to reach somewhere else (5 days)
6. Shinwa Lake
-Located deep in Kyuuten Forest, it has a spectacular view and various water pokemon, some even native to Kyuuten themselves that reside at this lake. Legend has it that a Legendary Pokemon roams this lake.
7. The Old Lighthouse
-Located on the far East side of Kyuuten, the old Lighthouse is only reached via Firtrie Cave. Once reached, it is much like the Lighthouse that Bill has in the Kanto region. The Lighthouse keeper, Valiant, resides here and the Lighthouse is home to many mysteries.
8. Firtrie Mountain Range
-Vast mountain range located on the central east portion of Kyuuten. This vast mountain rage is difficult to venture through, but great sights await explorers that pass through, including various types of Pokemon.
9. Firtrie Cave
-Dark, misty and very dangerous, Firtrie cave is located deep within the Firtrie mountains and close by the Kyuuten river. Mysterious Pokemon loom here, but many are known to very hostile.
10. Kyuuten River
-A big river that begins in the Firtrie mountain range. The river flows westward before taking a bend and flowing straight through and cutting through the central south portion of Kyuuten. Fast flowing, many raft here, but never from the start of the river for it is very dangerous. Many Water pokemon live in this river.
11. Reichi Lake
-A seperate river, parallel to the Kyuuten river flows into this lake that fills it. not as mysterious as Shinwa lake, Reichi lake does have its own beauty and exploring sights.
12. Daunting Pass
-A very omnious pass through the narrow end of the region, the Daunting Pass is the only access point from Cove Town to the Nothern ends of the region. Grass, Rock, Dark and Steel Pokemon share hostility here, being dangerous to those who pass through this dangerous passage way.
13. Cove Town
-A fairly peaceful town that is located on high cliffs on the south western portion of Kyuuten. Magnificent sight into the ocean and the grand cliffs and rocks that are just below their feet on the cliffside of Cove Town.
14. Unown Tower
-Some come here, some don't return. Considered as the most VIEWED mysterious portion Kyuuten, Unown tower has legends that the Unown reside here, controlling part of the dark woods. It is always misty, dark and foggy in this portion, residing with many many ghost and dark Pokemon. A mysterious old lady resides here, but very few have spoken to her...
15. Gami City
-Kyuuten's largest city and metroplitan area, Gami city is the second third largest city in the Pokemon World. Many visitors come here for the great city and enjoy their time. Pokemon contests, second to Valicity City's popularity of those, are held here for enjoyment. The beach is a magnificent sight into the sea and ocean. The Pokemon tower, where tourists visit a lot. The view from up there let's you see most of the region. A quite spectacular city.
16. Whispering Lakes / Volt Forest
-Whispering Lakes is a quiet and peaceful twin lakes, very few come here, even though it has a great beauty of the the two mountain peaks and the surrounding area. Many Bug pokemon are here at the Lake side and around the area, but they co-exist along with Electric Pokemon that practically own the surrounding forest called Volt Forest.
17. Penin Town
-Penin town, a medium sized town, is home to another Guru of the region. He likes to leave in more of a normal lifestyle than his fellow colleagues of Mongrove town and Valicity City. Also, a hot shot trainer that is famous around Kyuuten came from this town.
18. Whisper Peaks / Whispering Falls
-Whisper Peaks, the glamorous twin peaks of Kyuuten that look down to the Whispering Lakes and Volt Forest, are home to Kyuuten's most spectacular waterfall. Even though, not many visitors come here, this is a grand sight and great place for exploration.
19. Pokemon Region Whisperer
-Rosette, the famous Pokemon whisperer and a guru of the region herself lives in this house. Located on the northern part of Kyuuten, she is a grand person, being able to talk to pokemon and understand them.
20. Lumber Town
-Lumber town, known for it's famous manufacturing of wood for it's proximity to the best forestry wood of Kyuuten, is a very working city and most of the towns residents, along with their Pokemon, work to distribute lumber around the region. Another Guru resides her, and he is known for his massive strength of his Pokemon that can crush opponents easily.
21. Shrine Sky Town
-Shrine Sky Town is a town on the north eastern part of Kyuuten, shadowed by the Firtrie Mountains. Two shrines exist here. Both are for two mysterious legendary pokemon of Kyuuten that only few have seen. However, these Pokemon have never came to this Shrine and these days, barely anyone has seen them and only theories and legends exist, but these shrines explain a lot about them.
22. Lost Island
-Only reached by sea or air, this island takes 5 days to reach from it's designated route. Very very little is known about this island but scientists have predicted great mysteries of this island.
23. Mount HighHeat / Raine Islands
-The great Mount HighHeat. A volcano that created Kyuuten, but during the eruption, it was heavily damaged and it severely decreased in size, forming the Mount HighHeat that is known today. The Raine Islands have their own significance, but very rocky. Scientists come here at times to study the mysterious soil. Ancient and rare Pokemon are known to exists here.
