Ok, I'm a Kataang shipper, but I've GOT to know: Where did fans get the idea for Zutara? Most other pairings have a moment or an episode: Aang liking Katara for most of the series/The Fortuneteller episode, Suki and Sokka meeting on Kyoshi Island, Aang seeing Toph in the Swamp, Sokka saying he loves Yue, Ty Lee saying Sokka is cute, etc. What was Zutara's moment? And if there wasn't one, WHERE THE HECK DOES COME FROM?!?!?!!?

and yes, I realize it doesn't have much to do with the guild, but Zuko is involved in it, so it's somewhat related.

It probably all started episode 9, The Water Bending Scroll, even though it didn't seem like a coupley moment. I thought he was villianouse (sp?) and sexy in that episode.

GASP! eek I completely forgot about that!!! That was an awkward scene to watch sweatdrop But after that, Katara just HATED Zuko!!!! HOW HAS ZUTARA LIVED SO LONG?????

Because most Zutarians are too determined and refuse to accept that it won't happen, though I do know alot that are starting to except it.

That's true. I hear some Zutarians are converting to other Zuko related ships, like Songko, cuz she showed up first in Season 2, then Mai came, then Jin....but Zutara is still going strong on deviantart confused

Yeah.
Though I have to admit, I kinda like Zong (I don't like Songko. Zong is beter)
Mai makes sence, 'cause she has a crush on Zuko.
And Jin I kinda get because he did kiss her, but I think it was used as a way to show he's changing, and also to further kill Zutara.

Hey now... I'm a Zuturaian and Lovin it! It's just so much fun to play with because there is so much anger between the two characters! So long as the writer keeps the character in character then its good. If they don't well then... they have the dribbles and need their mouths ducktaped 3nodding

I am a Kataang Shipper, and I always have been and always will be, but for Zuko Shipping, I'm all for Mako, or Zin

Umm, even though I'm a relatively new Avatar fan (I just started watching it over the summer), I would have to agree about it starting after the Waterbending Scroll episode. It probably existed before then, but that's probably when it became popular.
I know Zutara is not canon and unless those rumors I've heard about the 3rd season are true (they probably aren't), it'll never be canon. I just like it anyway. xd
Like I said before, I like other pairings as well, but mainly Zutara.

Kataang is cute and makes nice fanart too, so why hold on to Zutara? We all know it isn't going to happen, so why push for it so hard?

Is it so wrong to have an opinion? xd As for the "It will never happen, so why support it?" part, some people just like it. Though I personally can't stand yaoi, take Zuko/Sokka for example. Now we all know that there is no way in HELL that's gonna be canon, but some people just like the pairing. That's what fanart and fanfiction are for. Same goes for non-Avatar, non-canon pairings like Riku/Sora from Kingdom Hearts or Sesshomaru/Kagome from Inuyasha (as well as various crack!pairings). Sure, it's not canon, but we don't care. xp I usually like most canon pairings, but not Kataang. It's just...no gonk ...but that's just my opinion. My friend likes Kataang, though. And I'm not fussing or anything, I'm just sayin'. sweatdrop
