Name Meaning: The 'Beta' part refers to Andromeda being the second built and working Android by the same scientist. The '15-1' referring to her being the first 15 year old Android by the scientist.

Background: Andromeda was made in the basement of a scientist, some years after the production of androids had ceased for complication issues. As all others before her, she was created for combat, built with all the knowledge of various weapons and tactics to be used against the enemy during wars. Unfortunately, since this was prohibited, Andre also built Andromeda with another skill: housekeeping. The android could clean, cook, and mend anything. Why make a machine primarily made for battle to also housekeep? Because Andre is lazy. He'd rather spend his days working on his projects. So he added the extra ability to Andromeda to do all the things that got in the way of his research. The maid's outfit she wears offduty from missions, she chose. Not that Andre had any knowledge of women's clothing to cloth her, himself.
