Yep, I'm bored.
I also need new rubber on my Z24. I've narrowed it down to a set of Hankook H405s or Falken Ziex ZE-512s in 205/60R15.
Both are about $100 apiece (99 and 87 respectively), mounting and balancing can be done by me, and both are an allseason and High Performance tire. Both have similar wear and grip, but the Falkens are much better in the snow, which is something I'm interested in due to the possible need for my car during the winter.
Has anyone had any experience with Falken or Hankook tires? I'm just curious before I go order any of them.

Can't say I've had experience with that. What I would like to know is how do the sizes work, like the numbers on the tire. I know one set would be for the wheel size but after that Im clueless.

205 is the tread width in milimeters.
60 is the aspect ratio of the width to the sidewall height
R15 is teh rim size in inches

I had a set of Falkens on my Stealth when I bought it, but the @#$)*&^ that had teh car before me put the wrong size on, so I replaced them(and didn't have the greatest performance).
They wore fairly well for the year that I had them(as well as could be expected, at least), and teh cornering is great. Never driven a Hankook tire, though.
I used to work at Sears, though, and I know they typically carry them in stock for a good price, if you want to buy from them.

not sure about those tires, but here in canada i picked up a set of fuzion HRI's for my mustang. not many people seem to have heard of them but anyone whos had them seems to like them, great tire in my opinion for what their worth. just to give some perspective, i had a set of michelin pilots with about 20% tread left when i started, and they would spin no problem, now with the fuzions, on a dry road to do more than just squeal the wheels, you need to drop the clutch at about 4000rpm's. as for treadwear for how sticky they are im surprised how theyve lasted so far, basically, id say in 5000km's its maybe taken around 5% of the treads (this includes burnouts). they offer 2 lines of tires, the HRI and the ZRI, i believe the first letter is the speed rating, because its a stock mustang i just went with the HRI and its been plenty, and the treads are very deep, weather or not it makes a good winter tire i dont know as the mustang is NOT going to be seeing snow.
anyways, if i were to get tires, itd either be fuzions, BF goodrich, or michelin
i know BFG has a tire called "radial t/a" and they can be picked up rather cheap and from what i heard their also a good tire for how much they cost.

What is the larges tire you can fit on a 13 inch rim? (width wise)
Consider that these wheels have to fit under a mini.
Just wondering what the widest tires you could put on would be.

It really depends on the width of the rim. If I recall correctly, mini rims are about 5" wide, so you wouldn't want to go more than about 5.5" wide on the tire, or else you run a risk of popping the bead off when cornering.

 So folks, I think I found a decient looking wheel for my Alfa. Racing Hart RH108s.
Aparently they quoted me at about 5k for wheels and 195/50/15 tires. Which isn't too bad, considernig they wanted 8k for a different set which I don't like half as much. Now get this, they're designed for a truck, SUV O_o

...SUV tires? Wtf?
You should get car tires on there, because truck tires will have stiffer sidewalls (For more load carrying capacity) and will ususally cost more.

The wheels are designed for SUVs and LDVs, the dude who called me about my quote said they would fit with regular 195/50/15 tires I think. Something like that. I'll have to comfirm closer to the time when I can actually get the wheels. I was always planning on putting car tires on them.
