The colonial marines are military funded troops that act as both the police force and the military army for the space colonies and the wayland corperation. They are in short the main and only true line of defense for the humans. Standered marines are equipped with rifles and grenades as well as a variety of small arms. Heavy troops get smartguns and even grenade or rocket launchers. War troops are given flamethrowers or fusion guns and extreme conflict armoring. Marines also use armored war suties known as Exosuites.
Another group of humans belongs to a whole nother class of fighter. They are an elite force trained in secret by the Wayland company. The counter hunters are divided amongst two groups. The first is a group of trained soilders who handle secret or sensative cases for the company and answer soley to them. They have the most advanced weapons and the most powerful equipment. However there lifespans are drasticly shorter than any marines because they do stuff a soilder wouldnt dream of doing. The other group are the counter hunters themselves who have special biosuites made to mimic Predator technology. They get similar weaponry and advanced technology for tracking and killing the hunting alien race. There jobs are so critical that there are only a prescious few recruited and they rarely last past a few missions.
The aliens are as multi breeded as the predators. Anything they lay eggs in will give a new and unique creature which is why they are so dangerous. There ability to create dangerous hybrids by planting there eggs in any known host can easily cause a new and dangerous mutation to there species. The main and average kinds however are thr drones which are made from humans. The runner that come from most mammels on four legs. Warriors are spawned from more powerful or military troops it seems. Predators create deadly and unstable predailens. The Praetorian alien gene eventualy leads to the creation of queens. It seems that anything will make them if given the time. They all have ther own purposes and some can adapt to achieve new goals such as swimming underwater or other abnormal feats.
Hybrids happen rarely as most aliens born are already part of some genetic breed. But every once in awhile, humans or predators or just plain luck creates a new horror that is much more powerful than a standered alien. They always have unique traits, abilities, and appearances that mark them as extra dangerous. The only thing that can be said about there breed is that they rarely happen naturaly and whther or not they are in the queens control, its best to just kill them or run very very fast.
Predators are not very well known about but what information we have on them is this. All predators are meat eaters and live for honor, strength and the glory of the hunt. They are divided amonsgt clans with there own unique styles and hunting techniques but al lpredators have the same classes available to them. Brawlers are stricly uplclose and personal fighters and usualy the lowest of rank and called unblooded ones. Hunters have a hunting tools and plasma casters on there shoulder, tey are the mos average and common predators. Stalkers have advanced technology and a deadly ability to move swift and silently to make assassin style kills. and Vanguards who are elite warriors and known as blooded ones for there famous hunting powers and fighting skills. There are rumors and reports of even more powerful military type predators but they are far to secrative a race to have these claims verified.
The predators are a mysterious race, always looking for the hightst levels of purity and honor. Yet some of the more 'weird' clan leaders are actualy willing to put other species to the test. They either willingly or forcfully take on humans as part of there clan and train them to become predator warriors, or kill them trying to. These humans live with and among predators but are rare as the elders themselves. Few are seen and fewer still are communicated with. They often are so apart from humans theyrefuse to go back to being 'weak' and stay with there clans, even if they never see another human amongst them. They have all of the same rights and classes as other predators but they have little if any of there respect, unless they have proven themselves against all odds to be better than most.
