Ever have one of those moments when you know what you want to write, but you just can't seem to do it? If so, how do you motivate yourself to write? Ceray needs motivation...

That happens to me all the time. sweatdrop I usually look on livejournal at the different themed communities and try to get an idea from one of the themes. That usually helps me.

I usually lock myself in my room, close the windows and turn off the comps, sitting on my bed until my Fallingrain finally kicks in and forces me to write. sweatdrop It's a torture method really.

Hm... well, that works too, I guess. For me, it's the laptop at night when I'm technically supposed to be sleeping. Since my laptop doesn't have Internet access (yet), that means I actually have to focus on writing and can't really do anything besides writing, so I get a lot more done. *shrug*

In all seriousness, I usually get my motivation by having to sit through something very boring. That usually means a lecture at college. xd

What about motivation on holidays when you sit at home all day and know you should write but spend your time procrastinating instead?
(This is a serious issue. For all of us. SOMEONE MAKE ME WRITE. xd )

Yeah, I've found that the closer I am to a deadline the more I write.. It's weird... But yeah.

All the time...-snicker- ...-dies- I dunno, no one really reviews my work as it is, or they end up threatening me, and I just end up thinking, "Wow, so only idiots read my fics!" and I just kinda let them die. -sighs- -clings to Ceray- Wriiiiiiiiiiiiite~

I wonder who hasn't? razz I usually get stuck right before a big idea, when you have to write the transition chapters, and I stare at it for hours, days and months! Then one day, I'm watching a movie or something, and it tilts. Then I jump on the computer and go berserk. But otherwise... I keep re-reading the chapters I already wrote and try to think of the rest again. Or I have someone else read it and try to encourage me to write more. Or! It's the best way to procrastinate on homework. xd
